My brother has a season ticket and not in the best health but he has only missed two home games all season tonight will be the third , its live on tellly , its pissing down and the traffic for a night match is usually crap , he lives near Blackpool so would not be back home before midnight.
No doubt will be classed as a lightweight by some but over 60 years following the Blues all over the country is quite an achievement , he can stop at home with his feet up and if VAR comes into play will no more than anyone in the ground :)
Weve both got tickets for the Salford game and will be backing our lads on Saturday , not sure but i think we have a lot of older generation fans and also fans with families who are fairly skint after xmas , the club have mega rich owners and do not realise the problems of the first credit card bill after xmas.
This is not a complaint just an observation that Premier league football is bloody expensive nowadays , so let the media in their complimentary seats ridicule our empty seats, considering we have the "biggest and best football club in the world " a couple of miles away , i think our support over the years has been f*cking brilliant , well done all match going Blues who attend tonight

This shitty journey has reminded me why I can’t be arsed with night matches. Fucking awful infrastructure in this country.

My sat nav to to 16 miles was 1 hr 20 mins!

Got the train instead. Stuck on it near that shitty junction at Deansgate. 20 mins late.

I read that matchday buses are breaking down and late.

It’s no fucking wonder we have so many no shows.
 
Hmmm not a fan of some of those choices. Khusanov should 100% keep his place, Dias is too slow. Fearful of Rodri playing again after an exhausting 90 minutes 3 days ago, kind if risk that we shouldnt be taking with him but I suppose he can rest weekend. Foden coming in is fine, he doesnt deserve it but he's not going to find form warming the bench. He has to perform though. Dropping marmoush for him instead of Semenyo i disagree entirely with. Marmoush has looked far livlier than Semenyo last few games. Not sure how we are breaking fulham down with that 11.

Bench looking much healthier though. Whether we actually use it is another thing. I'd take a no thrills 2-0 all day here but would be good if we could stick a few past these again hopefully without the capitulation afterwards and really give Arsenal something to think about.
