Will we win the league this season? No

Pep said he don’t care about how teams play against us, man to man or low block, press whatever.

He won’t be changing. The pass from defence to midfield is where he sees the main problem. which it is tbf.

Basically they ain’t doing it right particularly second half.

So all the chat about changing to more counter team is not going to happen.

Least we can get on with it now. The players need to improve and stop playing 10 passes side to side and start playing the more effective pass into midfield. The midfield need to make the space and run required for this to happen.

I hope the stubborn git is right.

The 99% figure means that Rodri wins more duels than 99% of the midfielders, not that he wins 99% of all duels.
Ok - my fault, didn't see the word 'percentile'.

The percentage that I'd mistakenly read as that figure representing is around the 70% mark, which does fit in with what I see.

Still think we will fall short and a CL place for the income will do. We still are conceding a lot of chances per game, luckily the Dippers missed most of theirs, and we still lack that finishing/final third play when on top of games to kill teams off and our weak 2nd half performances will cost us more points.
With so many new players, a top 4 place, clearout for new players in the summer, and title has to be the aim next season

That picture of our weaknesses is a bit static. We have been without Rodri for most of the season. He returned but we lost Gvardiol, Dias and Gonzalez in early January, RAN wasn't available either.

Now we have Dias back, Rodri is improving, Gonzalez is available, Guehi is a very good signing, Khusanov has gained experience, RAN is learning his role, etc. Plus we have Marmoush available and Semenyo, hopefully Doku and Savinho too. The squad is in a much better shape than in mid January.

Yeah good luck with that. We’ve just went away to bloody Anfield got our first win in forever (aside from covid) and are 6 points behind the leaders who have to come to our place and have a very big question mark over their ability to handle pressure.

I want the title this season and it is there to be won

It seems unlikely at the moment. If we say that the only realistic winners are the current top four we have to point out that the team in fourth have been in the best form recently with 14 points from their last six matches. They do, however, trail Arsenal by 11 points and have played a game more than Arsenal (and City and Villa). Their remaining games seem just as tricky as the other clubs in the top four and certainly no easier.

Turning our attention to Villa, they are 9 points behind the leaders and their recent form is the worst of the top four. They have taken 8 points from their last six matches and have lost 2 (both at home) of their last six matches. This is not the form to claw back a 9 point deficit.

City’s form is hardly better than Villa’s with only 9 points from their last six and six points behind Arsenal before the Fulham game. Encouragement comes from the rousing comeback win at Anfield which holds out the hope of a return to top form. In that case Arsenal’s lead may not be unassailable.

But Arsenal remain favourites…. For the moment. But their record in run-ins must give their fans sleepless nights.

Make no mistake their fanbase are absolutely bricking it right now

And that’s just going to get even worse if we defeat Fulham

And there is so much football left to play

Liverpool really only had 1 clear chance - the Ekiteke header. We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target, higher Exp Goals and critically more actual goals

We’ve got a very strong squad going in to the last third of the season. There’s only a few who have lots of minutes in their legs, most players have had a stop-start season. If we don’t win the prem, hopefully we pick up one of the cups.

Even though we have been shite some games.
Especially in the second half.
I honestly can't see anything other than is been champions again.
We will put the pressure on now and they will fold .
A rag fan said to me after 9320 .
Well done the best team as a rule wins the league.
We are miles better than arsenal
