Pep to leave at the end of the season

Wouldn’t surprise me if Pep sees this season and next out to complete his contract and then Maresca from there.

Pep didn't choose utd, or Liverpool, or even arsenal for the main reasons of the football politics that comes with the job.

Having to manage the media expectations around those clubs, the shite spouted by the likes of neville and carragher filling the fans heads with bullshit (utd dna my arse). Having a board of owners that are so short sighted that they can't see the long term vision. Who instead listen to the media and ex players.

If Enrique goes to utd and all of that he will be a bigger fool than I thought
Money talks which is why anyone would ever want to go to United. It’s not for football reasons.

I hope not!

He needs a job this summer so he needs his name out in the marketplace.

Our next manager after Pep will be Vinny IMO. He ticks every single box, including the biggest one, which is "how do you follow a personality like Pep?" Vinny has the communication skills, the leadership skills, the force of personality, the respect of the dressing room. No one else will come close when it's time to make that call.

Yeah, I can't see anyone beating Vinny to the job!

Vinny is locked in at Bayern until summer 2029, No clause to get him out until his contract ends. Bayern did it as he's crucial to their project and were scared of us taking him after Peps contract runs out. The entire new Bayern project is being built around him. Similar to when we signed Pep, they've gone all in on Vinny

Now you are talking mate! If we went down the younger route then i`d actually be looking at Fabregas instead of Alonso?

Vinny will crawl over broken glass to be the next City manager IMO.

I actually do think Maresca has something about him but I also see him as a needless-ly risky option when we will be the most attractive job on the planet when Pep is going to get replaced

I think that to , but he can't get out of the contract there's no exit clause. He's there until 2029 unless City pay the high compensation fee to Bayern.

I think managerial contracts are very different to player ones. As soon as a manager says "I want to leave" it undermines his authority in the dressing room. If Vinny tells Bayern he wants to join City there's little they can do. Compensation I agree on, the longer the contact, the higher the fee will be.

I cannot look past Vinny.
One day but IMHO he's not a City-calibre manager yet. His tactics were very naive against us at the Emirates. Unless he comes in for a year under Pep to hone his tactical nous a bit.

Winning the Bundesliga when you are by far the best team isn't the same as winning niggly games at Newcastle etc.

It's got to be Luis Enrique for me.
