The last election and first for this ridiculously created new constituency
tories/reform got 22% of the vote combined and 8012 votes
labour 50% with 18555
greens 13% with 4810
workers party 10% with 3766
lib dems 4% with 1999
Only 46% bothered to vote
take it the WP will vote green and some labour moving to them and reform I can still see labour sneaking it with a a massive drop in their majority, I just dont see a 9-10000 vote swing against them and reckon all 3 will be winning 10-12000 votes each
key is the 54% who stayed away last time amd tbh I don't see it that many will bother again, however the party that can get them out will have a good chance
Reform, well farage and goodwin. turned up in a pub. in abbey hey, had some photos and ordered a round for all, then. fucked off without paying.I think the opposite tbh - they are in the news - thats a bit of local glamour that could well attract the voters out. The weather on the day could be highly influential.
However I'd also say high voter interest is Reforms nightmare. They don't want people analysing their polices and what they stand for because division is their stock in trade and they know people from the other side of the divide may come out and vote - as I say - keep your eyes on Farage - if their own polling says they aren't going to win he won't go near the constituency nor Goodwin because he doesn't want to be associated with failure
His entire career has been as a Westminster type politico. He's got zero attributes that would make him a good constituency MP.
This from the party that says it wants to rescue us from elites; it's almost as if they're lying through their back teeth.
The landlord should be contacting Reform and then 2 days later when they've still not settled the bill the press about not being paid.Reform, well farage and goodwin. turned up in a pub. in abbey hey, had some photos and ordered a round for all, then. fucked off without paying.
The landlord reason was nigel is a celebrity and he couldn't say no, our news has turned a crank into some kind of media celeb and it is a sad state of affairs
From what I've seen in Denton, just going of signs in gardens, I'd say I've seen 50/50 reform and green. Not a single Labour sign. I was originally split between voting Labour or Green, but after seeing the bookies odds and more green signs I'm going with Green as having the best chance.Just as I was leaving the house to go to Lidl 2 fella were just posting reform leaflets, asked them nicely to not put that shite through my door
If there’s no signs and banners, that’s not dwindling support that is no support, if you’re judging voting numbers by signs.Dunno. Shame? Dwindling support?
Tbf, it’s quite a large, diverse constituency, and I was driving through Gorton rather than Denton. Presumably there are areas where there is significant support for Reform too.
56% of the electorate not voting is absolutely shocking, especially given the ability to have a postal vote. They deserve whatever they get tbh.not confident of anything, I jist don't see them suddenly losing the 9000 votes needed to really push them from top spot, they will lose thousands but cannot see it being as many as required. it all hinges on the 56% that didn't bother last time
Which pub mate? Was it the Prince Of Wales?Reform, well farage and goodwin. turned up in a pub. in abbey hey, had some photos and ordered a round for all, then. fucked off without paying.

I must admit I'm guilty of voter apathy, not voted for years, never thought there was any point because no matter what Labour always gets in, but believe me, I will definitely be voting this time to ensure the fascist cunts don't get in. Hopefully there are many like me, that get off their arses to stop these wankers.56% of the electorate not voting is absolutely shocking, especially given the ability to have a postal vote. a born campaigner - sorry I mean rank amateur
Turnout is traditionally lower in by elections for some reason. A general election turnout average of 60 odd percent drops to 30 odd percent in a by election. And apathy is where all the Labour votes will go. Dissatisfaction with the government will cause them to stay at home in droves.not confident of anything, I jist don't see them suddenly losing the 9000 votes needed to really push them from top spot, they will lose thousands but cannot see it being as many as required. it all hinges on the 56% that didn't bother last time
Greens & Reform are both deliberately exploiting and increasing racial tensions and both should be rejected for that reason.well I voted green last election and planned to with this, as my faith in labour is dead on a national level (I still vote labour them locally btw) but I would vote for labour this time if it seems the only way to stop reform
I. wasn't there, was told by someone who was and had it confirmed by someone else also, not my place to name it and potentially affect their business.Which pub mate? Was it the Prince Of Wales?
How are greens stoking racial tension?Greens & Reform are both deliberately exploiting and increasing racial tensions and both should be rejected for that reason.
Must be because they’re against genocide and outright racism from Reform. Extremely strange take but to be expected from him.How are greens stoking racial tension?
using the same tactics as the SWP did in Rochdale to get Muslim support. How are greens stoking racial tension?
