You say this but if you look at City/Liverpool when other teams were not on it, they wrapped the league up earlier and never gave anyone else a sniff. If we just kept winning and had a massive lead by now, City would be writing the PL off just like we did last season when Liverpool created a massive lead. The fact that City havent been playing well but are still within 4 points will galvanize them. We all know City have been here before and have had pulled off flawless runs of wins towards the end of the season. They have also won it in a similar position against US! previously. They can look at all that with confidence but we can look at it and get nervous.

If City win it from here, fuck the "they deserve it and fair fucks", it should be completely our own fault for letting the league title get away from us. This isnt the 100 point City and even City fans would probably tell you that we really did bottle the league this year if they won it considering the state of their team currently.

We arent that good. We have fewer points now than we did at this stage in the 2 seasons we fought with City. But neither are the other teams we are fighting with that good

I agree, different season different teams.. One thing i would say is that the meeja try and whip up a run in frenzy at Christmas FFS.. there's still nearly a whole third of the season left and we're in mid Feb.. i remember Liverpool won their first 7 and the mmeja fuckwits tried to get people to debate whether the league has already been won!! One thing that Pep gets right is a season long plan, he knows how to use domestic cups, the effect of the business end of chumps league, he rotates slightly which helps, uses cups as part of the training week etc,, it seems ... that helps him get the best out of the last 8 - 10 games - still 20 - 25% left!! I think Arsenal have a similar process to City now though re the 'season management' aspect - but with a stronger squad..at least i think it will be close and that will be better for the league. We will lose a couple though which with our young team is expected... IF we do manage to win at home v you,,.(BIG IF) it should be a close end.

I reckon you'll beat us at the Etihad but can see you dropping points at Chelsea.

I reckon getting that 8th spot in the CL table will end up being massive for you, avoiding 2 play off matches

Agree re Bridge, seems a decent sort and fwiw he posted something about difficult domestic circumstances, possibly poorly child or something.

His recent post was sort of passive aggressive, but I cut him some slack because usually pretty respectful. Him, LGW10 ( Dipper), Vialli98 ( Chavs), Magic pole are the more reasoned from other clubs. Its useful at times for interest to read the alternative viewpoint.

Me personally would never go on another fan forum but each to their own !!!

Saw some old footage from some of Arsenals pre game pressers from last season where Arteta states that Partey won’t be available and when asked the reason why he simply replies ‘minor injury’ and then when further pressed by the journos on what the injury is he simply repeats ‘minor injury’ while smirking

Sty will want it as their big Super Sunday game at 4:30.
