If you genuinely want a section that creates atmosphere, you have to make it accessible to the people who actually generate it, lads in their late teens and 20s, and they’re not the ones who are going to pay £97.You can appreciate everything they do and still call this out for what it is. They’ve prioritised ticket price over atmosphere for a final. That’s their choice, and they’re entitled to use their club privilege to secure those seats. But let’s not pretend it’s an atmosphere-first decision.
If the section was in the £97 safe standing bit, it would of been full of FOC's like me.
It’s not about entitlement, it’s about understanding who actually drives the atmosphere in games. You can’t say you want noise and then structure it in a way that prices out the very group most likely to create it.
