Tino Livramento

I hope you're correct. The best ability is "availability."

The club should be spooked by the Stones and Ake situations over the last few seasons but Livramento is only 22 I think and already had some serious injuries? Great player but no use in the stands!

This is one of those stories like Danny Ings linked to City in the same summer we got Haaland.

Their agents are linking them to everyone.

Great player but injury prone. We do need one more RB along with Nunes though so we could do a swap deal for him if Trafford wants to go. At least Nunes wouldn't complain about the amount of game time if Livramento would be injured often lol.

Which aspect of full back is he better than Nunes?
There are very few better than Nunes that I am aware of. Hakimi is the only one that is way better and he will not be sold.
I think Nunes has convinced Pep.
If we are buying a full back it is only going to be one at roughly the same level as Nunes or one who will be a back up.
I think we will go with what we have for at least one more season.
If its a back up and someone who can play a few positions, playing in cup games and coming on in the last few minutes of league games, I wouldn't be averse to bringing Kabore back into the squad. I'm guessing Wrexham would like to buy him as his loan appears to be going well.
Its not costing us anything.
I know people are going to say he is not good enough but his role would be back up to Nunes, not a Nunes replacement.
Khusanov is the other option, rotating between RB and CB.
I just can't see us spending the quoted transfer fee for Livramento.

Genuinely don't even think he is better than Nunes.

Injury record is alarmingly bad for a player of his age.

For the money being talked about I would want him 2 years injury free playing well in the CL, team of the year potential in the league and England number one fullback in his position.
