Arsenal Thread | 2025/26

They honestly think that are still and always will be bigger and more respected that City.

They seriously believe that them not loosing a league game but drawing 12 and getting 90 points. Is far more impressive than City winning the treble. We got 91 point in the league, didn't loose a single game in the Champions league (whilst playing Dortmund, Bayern & Real Madrid). And only conceded one goal to win the FA cup (whilst playing Chelsea, Arsenal & United on the way)!

The last time they won the league, we have won it 8 times and and 20 major trophies in total!

Everyone associated with that Club (ex players, fans, staff) have absolutely no self awareness. They are all to emotionally delicate to have what it takes to be considered a big club!

absolute Tarquins!
And the goal we conceded in the Cup run was a penalty that should never have been awarded.

Has there ever in history been such widespread towel throwing whilst being 5 points clear? I've seen teams 5 points behind with less games to go have more faith in their side than these bottlejobs.

Can you imagine if they dont win it from here and arsenal are still taking the 1 billion pound Stoke approach to games, Arteta will be eaten alive. This is the huge problem with such pathetic, negative football, you'll only ever get away with it if it works and even then, only once.
Didn't see the game the other night, but having watched that clip that Wolves posted, I genuinely think PGMOL need to do something to address the feigning of head injuries.

Ive absolutely no idea what they can do, but something needs to be done, because its a complete abuse of a law that was brought in to protect the players wellbeing.

Makes me laugh that Arsenal fans are probably the biggest mouthpiece of our 115 charges, and yet they showcase what is quite literally cheating on a weekly basis.

I'd be absolutely gutted if my side started doing this.

Apply concussion assessment protocols like Rugby more strictly. Have to go off (with replacement) to be seen by Doctor

That won't happen. I think pgmol -and Webb in particular- are scared stiff of laying the law down to the red cartel. If this were another club, say at the foot of the table, Wolves, Burnley etc, Webb would go after them like a greyhound on a race track. The media probably wouldn't even report on it ("Who gives a fuck about the minnows in the Prem?"). But if he turned on any of the cartel he'd be thrown out of office within 24 hours.
I thought the man was a bully years ago and my train of thought has not been derailed since.

You don't understand football fans. They may be marginally more football positive than Stoke under Pulis but any such criticism will be classified as sour grapes by Gooners. They must be bad for the game when Scousers and rags would prefer City to win the title; assuming the comments on social media are genuine.
Playing like a billion pound Stoke is fine I suppose, it's not what I'd want but it's a perfectly acceptable approach.
It's the constant cheating I don't understand, is winning a title worth all the constant diving, fake head injuries, timeouts, WWE corners, snidey achilles rakes, haranguing the ref, etc, etc, etc.
I can understand Leicester fans celebrating a first in a few generations title despite diving and cheating their way to victory but Arsenal have won league titles relatively recently and are one of the richest clubs in the world, the way they play now and the possibility of cheating their way to a title must surely be embarrassing to the actual football fans, not social media followers, who've been going to matches for years.

Rice was pretty much the only Arsehole I had respect for, but at 1-2 last night he was doing stepovers of the ball while it was in the corner triangle rather than restarting the game and he massively went down in my estimations.

I know it all comes from Arteta but, still, just another twat amongst a team of utter twats!

I’ve never respected a team and their antics less. At least with Klopp’s Liverpool it was about football. There were a few dives from Salah and a few dirty challenges from Fabinho and Thiago, but I had more respect for Klopp’s Liverpool as a football team.
Fuck me, there's some proper whitewashing of the Dippers going on since they dropped off.
Klopp's Liverpool were the snidiest, most shameless teams ever to play in the Premier League. A "few dives from Salah", a few dives every 10 minutes or so more like it, along with Mane, Fabinho, Alexander-Arnold, etc, etc, etc none of whom could stay on their feet within the opposition's half.
Not to mention the outright thuggery of Robertson (miraculously only 1 red card in his career despite kicking, tripping, punching and pushing opposition into hoarding his way through his career) and Fabinho, MacAllister and the other midfield troglodytes who's names I havent bothered to remember.
They were a marginally more 'footballing' side (if you call running fast, initiate contact then go down theatrically for a free kick or penalty 'football') than Arsenal now but they were as big a bunch of cheats as this incarnation of Arsenal, they just cheated in a different way.
People forget just how much cheating and thuggery Liverpool got away with on the pitch because of the whitewashing of their football by their paid propaghandists in the media and the same thing will happen, and already is happening, with these Arsenal cheats too.

I would hate to see any City side playing like Arsenal do. I don't believe we ever have. Of course we have had the occasional diving players but it has never been orchestrated as a team tactical plan.
Our diving this season is the worst I’ve ever seen.

Foden Doku Reijnders Savinho Lewis Ait-Nouri Marmoush… are all divers and a few of them, are injury feigners n’all.

At the game I’ve shouted a few of them to ‘fucking cut out the fucking diving for fuck’s sake’… to a few moans from fellow Blues in the stand going on about ‘what about the other team?’ But I don’t support the other team and I don’t want my team diving.

I’ll never defend it, I’ll never accept it. I’m sick of it.

However, we don’t play-act a fraction as much as this Arsenal side. They are the worst English side I’ve ever seen at the play-acting and I’ve never respected a team less.

I think Cancelo was the worst. I don’t agree about Foden or Doku but I’ll give you Savio and Reijnders on occasions. I despise it whoever does it but Arsenal are another level. I can’t understand why the refs are not intervening.

Marginally more lol that is hilarious

Putting the City hat to one side for a second Liverpool under Klopp were very watchable. Our games against them were the highest level of quality football that the premier league has ever seen.

This Arsenal team is just a stain on the game and have made it completely unwatchable

lfc were ten times better than this arsenal team. And City were just about better than liverpool at that time. That was the pinnacle of PL football for me.

This Arsenal team, eurgh. So much talent wasted on hoofing set pieces.
