William is a decent chap and will be a good king. Kate is very likeable.

I know republicans will jump on this to try and get rid of the monarchy, they always do, but William and Kate will make it very popular again.

I'm not sure it'll ever be popular again, mate. It may survive for a while longer but there are generations growing up now who just don't care about it all like previous generations.
I think The Royal Family stood for something in a bygone era but not so much today.
They will get a few more years, a decade or more but I don't see them ever getting the love and respect they once did.

Loads are saying that and tbh you can just tell he’s a privileged prick, probably got a chip on his shoulder about Charles, if the queen was alive this would’ve killed her off, her favourite is a nonce and I have no doubt they covered all this up. I’m not really arsed about the monarchy but the calls to get rid are getting louder now, here it’s royalty in usa it’s the money men who are nonces, hang the lot of them.

people have been saying that for generations and there has been anti monarchy feeling among younger people throughout the last 60 years, at certain times. Apathy isn’t what will bring it down, it’ll be something like this Andrew case and from Charles’s perspective, he needs to get Andrew out the picture and ideally banged up ASAP.

I’m in favour of the monarchy from a political standpoint but can’t stand the celebrity nature of the wider family.

His lies are out in public when he went on Newsnight and stated when he cut ties with Epstein. Was he stupid enough not to think that the authorities in the States would have all his communications with Epstein, or did he think the fact he was part of the Royal family it would give him some type of immunity from the law coming after him?

He's toast. Enough people want him jailed to carry it over the line. And he'll deserve it so much, he has behaved like someone who expects it will all just go away... when really he should have done a runner years ago if that's at all possible for a royal.

But It's clear all these rich twats have their dirty fingers in all sorts of pies, I think they hope Andrew will satiate people's (and the press) desire for justice.

My grannies generation loved the royals.
Personally I couldn't give a fuck about them.
 
The problem with the monarchy imo is not the royal family and their cousins, its the public who enable them.

The royals were born into a system that they had very little choice in.

The cultists who support them just do it to feel better about themselves.

Royalists should be ashamed that the culture survives to today. It has a fascinating history which is fine to hold dear but that should be it.

Anyone with an ounce of fairness should be anti-monachy imo.

It’s about the attitude of William. He exhibits all the arrogance of the Windsors. Plenty of other examples, but that was the worst and caused a lot of trouble. He was bleating on the other day about his emotions, assuming people cared. He’s not in Andrews class but he is an entitled drongo.

I am no fan, hated them when I was young, but I can see the benefit they bring to the country now I am older. Culture, tourism, political work, charity work etc. They bring a lot to the country, maybe it is waning now though especially after what this knob head has done.
