Elliot Anderson | Opening bid rejected (p189)

NIco O R is the real deal can play defensive midfield and can play box to box, he needs the chance to shine. WE need to sign a Silva type player. If we
Loses Rodri then Anderson would be a great asset. We have looked better with the two more defensive type midfielders in my opinion.
Double pivot with Rodri, Nico G. and Anderson in strict rotation? Find a LB and let Nico O. play wherever he wants to. I'm frankly amazed at how well Nunes has grown into the RB role. That first match there I remember realizing after five minutes that he had zero defensive instincts born into him, and yet, now, look at how well he defends, generally. As for Nico, as a supporter since 2002, I don't recall any Academy player who I believe has adapted to the first team and Prem-level standards of play and performance as quickly and seamlessly as he has. Am I forgetting someone?

Nostalgia maybe but Michael Johnson seemed to instantly become our best and most mature midfielder. Looked like he was born for it

Can see why we want him running things right now against the dippers. Doing the basics winning the ball he’s a class act.

I’ve never seen him pass with his left
I think you may be right. He does makeover the ball onto his right foot a lot, but does it well. I'm sure he also uses his left at times though.

It's one of those odd things - right-footed players are expected to be good with their left also, but most left-footers barely used their right.

yeah that’s what I get from his games and highlights . Obviously he’s still playing good but in some certain situations it might cost us. It’s the same with O’Reilly they always shift their body to pass with their stronger foot no matter the situation
