Big moment in the season, of course we still have the 2nd legs this week but this draw will essentially shape the rest of the season as we find out our pathway to the final. I've added a poll for now but will amend when sides are knocked out this week.

2 immediate things to look out for:
- Who will we face in the next round? (Real Madrid, Bodo/Glimt, Benfica, Inter)
- Which side of the draw will we be on for our potential quarter final opponent? (Bayern or Arsenal)

As it stands it's looking fairly likely that we will face Real Madrid or Bodo/Glimt in the last 16. Inter probably the most likely to turn their game around but Bodo/Glimt have been very good in recent weeks, went to Atletico and won.

We will be away first in the last 16.

We will be at home first in the quarter finals should we make it.

We will be away first in the semi finals should we make it.

Details:

When is the draw?

The draw will be held at the UEFA House of Football in Nyon at 11:00 (UK) on Friday 27 February.

Who can City face?

Due to the structure of the draw, we know it will be one of Benfica, Bodo/Glimt, Inter or Real Madrid in the Round of 16.

Benfica and Real Madrid are midway through their two-legged play-off, with the Spanish side 1-0 up.

Meanwhile, Bodo/Glimt won the first leg against Inter 3-1 in the Arctic Circle.

Both ties will be completed in the week before the draw.

The draw will also signal our potential opponents all the way to this year’s final, so we’ll cover who City could play in the quarter-final and semi-final too.

When will the ties be played?

Round of 16: 10/11 & 17/18 March 2026
Quarter-finals: 7/8 & 14/15 April 2026
Semi-finals: 28/29 April & 5/6 May 2026
Final: 30 May 2026 (Budapest)

11:00 hey. Probably get drawn about 22:30 with all the razzmatazz shite that goes with it.
And I'd like Benfica so we can fuck Moaninho over. I don't want Bodo because of that fucking pitch! However, I don't think either will win their games against Inter n Madrid.

Wouldn't write Inter off just yet, they are still favourites to qualify.

Will sound very odd but I fancy Madrid.
I know that sounds really fucking stupid but I think they look vulnerable, and we owe them one having been knocked out two years in a row.
I’ve grown to despise them as a club and I just think why not? We’re 100% a better team than them now. Let’s fucking beat them.

On top of that, the second leg would be at home.
Again know it sounds weird but why not?
It’s better than another trip out to the arctic circle.
I wouldn’t mind Benfica, chance to batter Mourinho.
And I’d prefer Madrid to another Inter park the bus display.

I think we'd beat them as well.

Another 4-1 at home spanking with Bellingham crying off would be hilarious.

Surprised Inter are favourites being 3-1 down, Bodo have beaten us and Inter at home and Atletico away since returning from their pre-season.

Still fancy Bodo to see it through.

I'd take Inter though if they did go through.

I’d like to go back to the San Siro before it gets demolished,be good to see it full with a great atmosphere,

Any of them except Bodo.
Just won their last 3 home matches against us, Athletico and Inter.

Anyone other than Real Madrid. Last thing we need is home v Real Madrid in 2nd Leg, 4 days before the League Cup Final. Not to mention the ticket prices will then be very expensive plus the toughest opponents we could face. No thanks

Should find out the Kick off time for West Ham away after the draw as well
we're treated like absolutely shit by the football authorities/clubs, it'll be a day over 2 weeks until the fixture against west ham and there's still no announcement about what time the game will be played at or ticket details from the club. I know it's nothing new but it's a fucking farce init?
