They won 1-0 against an Everton side with one of the weakest attacks in the league.

That game had draw written all over it, they were that poor. A brainfart in the 70th minute and they get 3 more points. It's how it goes sometimes.
 
They're likely to finish this season strongly due to them playing one game a week, it allows their players to get a full weeks rest in between games and avoid rotating and thus not picking up any injuries. Trust me when next season starts and they're having to play 2-3 times a week in the champions league against better opposition they'll be back to being shite. I'm surprised it's not been picked up more in the media but then again I'm not. It's a huge advantage to them being knocked out of all the competitions early on. The cunts need reminding about this and knocking down a peg or two so if you work with any or you've got mates that are loving it atm, fucking remind them they got beat by Grimsby Town in the league cup.
 
Few weeks ago I went to watch Wigan v Bolton. The quality was shocking, but at least Bolton tried to play on the floor.

Last night was not much different to that.

Hoof ball at its finest.

No playing out, just leather it and clear your lines. With Lump it Maguire as the main culprit, no surprise.

The rags used the same system on us. Stick the boot in a few times. Sit back and defend deep. Then go for the route one, kick and rush. Not forgetting the diving when you go near them or they lose the ball. Add to that the grappling and tugging of shirts. All choreographed, another sign of the yank sport influence.

tour was manchester side of the Irwell..when it was at granada studios!..... Media City is in salford......
 
I think the board is regretting not sacking Amorim earlier, otherwise they will be competing for the league.
 
He has done well Carrick but it does feel like Solskjaer all over again. Play compact and deep and hit teams on the break. Carrick also doesn't have the courage to start his £70m striker and brings him on as an impact sub. That has worked very well so far but soon there will come a point where he has to be more brave and start him. That's when things may change.
 
He's turned the clock back very well. There are no demands on the squad, and no changes of tactics from the usual kick and rush breakaway things that they always used to do.

With so few demands on their squad they have every chance of top 4, and with a strong chance of an English Champs League winner, top 5 will get them into the Champs league anyway - won't it?

Plus, McTominay might be back for £50m soon - what's not to like?

It’s easier for him he is playing the right players in there right positions all ther players are in board fans are on side no pressure 1 game week happy camp! Now next season Saturday Wednesday Sunday most of the season expectations a lot higher! Isn’t Maguire going and that thug in midfield going too!

well they were bring slabhead on for late set piece so i guess 70 million well spent not that media will mention fee and wages
