The 2nd halves were when we had 2 games a week. I reckon (hope to God) it’s the other way around here, we warmed up as it went on.

Despite the slightly melodramatic posts in here I thought that half showed how far we've come.

They were out of the traps so incredibly quickly, did loads of pressing and running in that first 30 minutes. That would have troubled any team in the league. We weathered the storm, and looked pretty solid. The good chances they had were fouls/offsides.

Then once it became clear they had burnt themselves out we put our foot on the ball, gained control and put them under a heap of pressure at the end of the half.

Resilient half against a tough team. Leeds have effectively played their ace card early and hopefully the amount of running tells its toll in the second half.
