Great win and a huge 3 points.

A terrible start but from 30 mins we dominated for the majority. Went to pieces a bit when Casper and Sav came on. They’re not 2 players you want on the pitch in that situation.

Didn't think we were any worse when they came on. We can't run Cherki and Marmoush into the ground when we have a match in a few days again.
I'm guessing Haaland may not be ready to start on Wednesday so best to make sure that Marmoush gets a bit of a rest.

Nunes hasn't just become a serviceable right back but one of our top 5-ish players.

Great result and after the first 20 mins, for once, we were pretty consistent between the two halves......the overall performance was pretty average in terms of quality however with some patches of slightly better.

Guehi good again
Dias organised but looked shakey in the first half....but was better in the second half
Semenyo got his goal but needs to contribute more in the overall game.
rodri looked fitter BUT a bit sloppy in the first half giving the ball away twice
Bernardo didnt stop running and helped to try and control the pace of the game.
RAN good going forward but still suspect defensively.

Cherkis influence grew

NOR was key and we lost any sort of semblance of control when he went off....both subs (reijnders and Sav) were poor and contributed virtually nothing which is par for the course with both of them

Leeds put us under huge pressure in that game and while it wasn’t pretty, it was at least effective.
We really need bodies back out wide and an ability to hold the ball up top. Semenyo and Haaland are big lads but neither enjoys great success holding it up with their back to goal.
