Job done but another poor performance

This is what we are now.

We are still a good side who play good football but we are levels down in quality from what we used to be.

We were spoilt to see how good we were from 2017-2024 but English football was n’all as it had never seen the likes of our quality before and may never see the likes again.

I don't think this giving the players 3 days off is benefiting us at all, we're looking more lethargic than ever, opposition teams are looking far more energetic than us. I've always said week long breaks just don’t improve us, we need to be playing every three days for maximum performance

Another game, another week where I am flabbergasted by the overall reaction on here. They started well, we shut them down, we scored a big goal before half time, we dominated them for 35 minutes and should have scored another, we kept them at arm's length while we saw the game out. The team ran their bollocks off and got over the line. Not vintage, doesn't need to be, every single league we have won have had games that look like that.

I think what's bothering some on here is the chances that Leeds left on the table. DCL should have scored in 1st half. Another Leeds chance went wanting. Easily could have been 0-2 if we were playing a better clinical team. But, you're right. At this point - it doesn't matter. By hook or by crook. A win is a win. 3 points is 3 points. And Leeds is a good team. We build on it. Hopefully we get Haaland and Doku back for Forest. If so - look out League. Onwards!!

I don’t disagree, but I only picked up on it cos our manager just mentioned it!

Anyway, reckon 6 wins from our last 11 games would guarantee CL football - but that’s not factoring in any head to heads between teams in the mix - so maybe 5 wins.

So Nunes, Guehi, Dias, Ait Nouri, Rodri, Cherki and Semenyo were all EXCELLENT imo. Donnaruma barely made a save. Id say that's a big result, big win and big performance.
