US & Israel attack Iran

Not sure what Iran gains by bombing all its neighbours? Looks like theyre getting a proper twatting too. Dont see how this ends well for anyone really

Sanchez doesn’t agree with Trump and Netanyahu and won’t join the bombing of Iran campaign.

We are being blackmailed by Trump into letting the USA use our bases, Trump calls Starmer names and the PM relents. . That will put us in the frame for terrorist attacks in the UK. Will any one else listen

Starmer specifically said Cyprus is not being used that leaves us with UK and Diego Garcia bases.

It's because IRGC is an evil repulsive regime. That doesn't mean I support what Trump is doing, especially now, at all. To be clear. But here we are, with a WC in America about to occur. smh.

Terror attacks happen anyway. Many are foiled each year before this conflict. Islamic extremists who want to murder British citizens do it because they already hate the infidel. This may provide more motivation but I don’t think us allowing the use of bases is going to drastically increase the likelihood of it happening.

Some of our key allies, such as the UAE, are under attack, Cyprus, one of our bases, has been attacked. Rockets are being fired by the Iranians left, right and centre. Our government disagrees with the war that has been started but refusing to allow key bases to be used at this point is putting ourselves and our allies at risk and cutting our nose to spite our face. Cyprus was fired upon before we allowed the bases to be used.

Starmer is being unfairly criticised, and no matter what he’s done he cannot win. He’s keeping us at arms length in this, enough anyway so we can’t surely be blamed for the inevitable mess that comes.

If Iran is truly ready for a long war, if that's the case then their ability to compete in this WC might be doomed. IRGC's "never say die" attitude could mean a prolonged war, or not. But with every devastating bomb that drops on Iran (which I don't condone by the way, prayers to the innocent people of Iran to keep them safe) it's hard to imagine how this regime could be allowed to represent itself in a WC in a nation warring against them.

Asymmetrical warfare always drags on indefinitely. Look at Hamas vs Israel which lasted over 2 years until the “ceasefire”. Iran has 100x the manpower, resources, intelligence etc.

You would assume a country like Iran has been planning for this eventuality for a very long time.
