Will we win the league this season? No

Up front everyone is waiting for it and no one is providing.
Need proper wingers on and those in the middle finding room.
I do believe given the game in hand and their visit that it isn’t over but then again I still believe that Scarlett Johansson will discover me,fall in love with me and whisk me away.

Everton away
Bournemouth away


thats like 4-5 points at maximum for Pep. Bournemouth away is like Brighton a, Villa fixtures for him. knows what to expect tactically but still lose it.

Arsenal home, Villa home also will be draw-ish games.
now would be the time to play Villa when they are sick shit ass form, but by the last round end of May I assume they will be out of the rot and pick up a bit again.

I think we will do something like 18-19 points from the remaining 27.
Arsenal doing 6-2-0 or 6-1-1 at worst . thats 19-20 points from 24. couple ugly wins, even close games, extra help from set pieces in tight games, but generally decent clean sheets.
there reaction to the Wolves game is really bad for us. was perfect set of tricky fixtures for them to bottle it and they did the opposite putting extra pressure back on us which now caught us out.

so this current 7 points gap, will remain by the end, +/- two points.

Issue is Arsenal have not played well but set pieces won them the game v Chelsea and proper defending win them the game tonight.

Our attacking play is shocking with very little end product as our finishing remains woeful.and we cannot defend and have nowhere near the quality in midfield as Arsensl.
 
I think the title should be, Will we win anything this season, because the way we are playing the answer is NO
 
When was the last time we played well at home? Maybe Liverpool on 9th November?

Thats not the sign of title winners.
 
I am going to change my opinion from which I have maintained since the beginning of the season. I am starting to think we may win the league.

I am very surprised how close we are but the few teams behind us are even worse than us. Arsenal aren’t even great but the grind or cheat out results is working

Apart from this and last season if city need a goal to win under pep you’d expect to get one but for the last 18 months that just hasn’t been there
 
It was always going to come down to who blinked first.

Didn't think it would be us. You can debate their non-penalties, roughhousing of other teams all you like; unless we can put the ball in our opponents net, it doesn't matter what Arsenal get away with.

We should have buried Forest tonight.
