Spurs Thread | 2025/26

It amazes me how that team can be so bad and have a real probability of going down. I'm not saying their players are world beaters but most would get into higher teams in the PL at least.

In some ways they remind me of a "modern City" in that they've picked the wrong manager too often for too long. They've spent a lot of money and bought a lot of players and they don't know who their best team is. The team is too good to go down until it isn't and if they do go down, every player will leave as he needs to play in the CL.

Worst still, they didn't recognise that Frank - who had done an amazing job at Brentford - wasn't the problem, the players were. The board have no idea about who should manage them or how they want to play. Frank was a great appointment and should've been backed - he's not the o lying manager to find that squad isn't good enough and he won't be the last either.

Tudor will be gone soon and I suspect they will bring Pochettino in. They are looking backwards and I don't think he's the manager he was. They will enough games to stay up but that squad is the problem.
It's because they have no spirit and don't want to be there. West Ham and Forest players know that if they go down most of them will still be at the club in the Championship. Not so for Sp*rs players.

Well levy put in all the players contracts a relegation 50% reduced wages clause! Well at least Levy was smart enough to realise it could happen! Spurs financially will be fine for one season more than that they’ll be in big trouble! Also if they go down start to win keep winning be at the top of the league fans will fill out the stadium they might even enjoy that division! Only if they come straight back up though..

Wouldn't imagine many players would stick around on reduced wages, they'll down tools and force a move.

If they are under contract and no one want them they’ll have to stay! The players can moan as much as they want! Spurs ain’t going to loan them out if they are no buyers! I wouldn’t take one of there players

Spursy fans were singing “Lincoln away, Ole Ole” on the Madrid tube last night.

I can’t even find it funny as I’m still furious regarding the 5 dropped points against them.

I haven't taken much notice of Spurs since...well, ever! I don't care about them, I don't think about them (except when we play them) and I am not concerned about their Premier league placing - survival or relegation, I couldn't care less. But from the extremely brief highlights I saw from last night's debacle I would say they are in freefall. Too many players who wouldn't make it into one of the lower Championship sides.
This Tudor fellow, who is he? I know next to nothing about him but it seems his managerial career thus far has been poor. Pretty much sacked by every club he's taken charge of (or 'left by mutual consent'). You have to ask why the fuck would anyone want to employ him given his track record?

He has a (well earned) reputation as someone to bring in to put out the fires, and getting clubs back on the right track. Or at least he did before misjudging how much of a shitshow Spurs really are.

I'd love to imagine that Khaldoon had a hand in this somehow, given we know who the leading instigators against us were.

That 2nd game was absolutely shocking. Tge first game i left the ground impressed with Spurs and thought they looked a really physical side. I think the week after they got completely ran all over at home to Bournemouth.:)

They'll get moves if they agitate for one, it's the modern way unfortunately

Maybe if they go down be interesting how that works out who goes who stays!

Already Rumours about Romario and “a lot of clubs are after him” agent doing there work and letting everyone know this even if not true! Who would want that liability
