Absolutely horrific from the starting line up to the goals conceded.

Players looking like lower league players against the big boys.

An absolute schooling.

We've been generally poor in this competition this season - our performances in it were soon gonna be punished when it mattered.
 
Shit performance, to be expected.

Haaland.....what are you doing, lad?
Doku.... ran all game but wasn't influential.
Guehi.... hasn't played much in the CL and tonight highlighted that. Hopefully a learning curve.
Semenyo..... Premier League standard.
Dias.... i'm saying nothing, don't want to get thread banned.

CL is done, League Cup Final, progress in the FA Cup, and battle the Tarquins for the Title. That's where our mindset should be.
 
Another European capitulation to go alongside Liverpool, another Real game, Lyon, Monaco, etc etc. Pep rebuses to learn in Europe and it was a solid beatng that tonight.

Once Valverde had got 2 goals you'd think it might be worth watching that fucker a bit more closely.

Ultimately we were good at the start then the goals killed us. But we offered next to nothing again 2nd half. Haaland might as well not have played - Rudiger had fuck all to do AGAIN against him. I really don't see how we're any closer to finding out how to play the world best striker whilst we fuck about passing between our defenders.

We just needed to play our normal game but instead we showed them way too much respect and picked a side to try and stop them which completely backfired.

Only player who looked vaguely like doing something was Cherki. Completely inexplicable not to start him or at least bring him on much earlier.

I would love to know why he brought Reindeer on instead of Cherki because we all knew he would offer absolutely nothing. One of the most disappointing signings of recent years.
 
With our impending exit from the CL, there is now no excuse for not reeling in Arsenal for the league title. Then again, I wouldn't be that shocked to see that lot drummed out themselves by Leverkusen. I hope for a positive reaction from our manager and players for the final this weekend.
