POOR POOR POOR FROM EVERYONE INCLUDING PEP NOT JUST THE PLAYERS.
Fuming is an understatement. Absolutely no belief and conviction in anyone on that pitch and dugout. Just what on earth is Pep trying to prove??? That lineup looking back after joking about it was flabbergasting. No creative midfielder to link up anything. What’s the point of the Pep Lindjers and his pressing if the players don’t press? What’s the point of Haaland playing when he is clearly injured and not fit? If I’m Marmoush I’m going to his door and giving him an earful.
I’m sick to death of this “Real Madrid mentality” NO. Iv seen us take them apart and match them when the mentality is right and it seems the players either thought it would be easy or lacked belief.
MASSIVE! HUGE HOLES IN THE MIDFIELD. We can talk about formations and how to play but the basis of any game is to control that midfield! At half time I would have wacked on Nico G next to Rodri to get some control and sacrificed Semenyo (who was blinded by the lights and bar positioning for a goal is useless).
Cherki when on was actually dictating tempo AGAIN yet Pep never starts him. I’m baffled. Again what is he trying to prove? Savinho I really love and don’t blame him at all at trying to make things happen but he should NOT have started this game. So many things went wrong and to think they had so many players out injured with half probably more than likely to feature in the reverse I’m just fuming.
