Basketball is becoming more popular now, but hardly anyone over here used to watch it when LeBron played.

The vast majority of U.K. people wouldn’t be able to name 5 basketball players.

not sure what his income has to do with why people in a country where basket ball is mainly played in schools and not a major sport mainly because it's crap has to do with it.

Earning $50m isn't special, just a measure of the fucked up nature of humanity that some gimp who can play a quite average sport can earn more than life savers like nurses, doctor, firemen or the people who keep places running like cleaners, teachers caterers etc.
