I hate the fact that the last game and a half have made me so negative. Midweek was a shocker, I expected a reaction but to witness that 45 was tough. Nothing has changed, despite Pep saying he wanted our forwards to smell the movement in the box they have had not one decent ball in there to do that. We have Semenyo now as the number 10 expecting him to create chances for others yet he has not played one decent forward pass and was sleeping on their goal (Donnas fault though) Pep has now become a manager who wants to change players for the sake of it - a million passes. His selection after the abject midweek performance tells me he really is short of new ideas.

West Ham were there for the taking yet we have had 2 shots so far and beside the goal their keeper could sit on a deck chair we have been that slow and ineffective.

Would love it if he brings on Cherki at half time but at this stage he will probably alter the defence or something similar.

We are a boring side to watch - something I never thought Id say whilst Pep was manager.

The only thing we can smell is the shit we are getting served up on the pitch..
 
Feel bad for wanting Senenyo off with the goals he scores but his overall play stops us dead in our tracks. Loses the ball far too much for this level, passing is average, positioning is also meh.
Why didn’t Doku start , he was our only shining star v RM. Come on Pep we still have a chance of winning the league if we can win this.

I think there is also an element of back to basics about tonight since we were blown away in mid week, second to all the 50/50, couldn’t keep possession when we had it…tonight looks like we are intentionally keeping the tempo low, a compact shape, and trying to pass our way through them.

Semenyo, Mamroush are very strange buys...technically not good enough and more to the point dont fit into this team...neither can play as a 10, neither are wide men.....so they have to play close to Haaland which nullifies him.

We havent got a right back and only one recognised left back

our best player this season is Bernardo Silva.....and he is off int he summer which is vey worrying when you look at Viannas record so far......

How many of Viannas transfers so far can you classify as a definite success????

I know times change but I don’t think we would have entertained buying either of them a few years ago. They’re not Pep players. Now everything feels like a panic buy when things aren’t going right.

How about this, let’s change our coach to Arteta and his coaching team who are the best coaching team in the EPL and probably worldwide, change the players to Rice, Raya, and Gabriel who are the best players in EPL compared to our trash players. If this is too expensive or too slow to realise, there is a low cost alternative. just change our team name to Arsenal in your mind. It will be immediate improvement.
