Play to him is generally too slow. One of the precious few one-touch passes was Cherki’s through ball, but Haaland just couldn’t get enough power on the shot.
He set up semenyo. Is that fuck all? The haaland haters completely ignore that every time he gets the ball he does something forward thinking. Every time. He fucking hates playing this way. And it's a waste. Yes, he scored goals before, it's not that we don't occasionally create chances. It doesn’t stack up though. How many goals did he have before Christmas in the same side with a similar set up? How do you justify him not even putting a shift in against Madrid and in the derby? One game he showed fight was against Newcastle and really helped the team. Why was that the only game in months where he genuinely gave his man a hard time and helped the team? Look how much more fluent we were against Newcastle last week in one of our only really good team performances this year! Does he need service? What on earth was he doing early on against Madrid when Doku put the perfect ball in for a striker. He stood still in no mans land. Tonight though Doku played it straight to him and he fluffed it again. This is a world class goal scorer who should be getting us goals in big games. Considering he does absolutely fuck all else in build up he’s currently a waste of a shirt.
And drop the forward who isn't giving 100%.
No he doesn't. He's ignored. He hates our style of football, as do I, and when fucks off to wherever and scores 60 in a season I'll see you back here because no other manager in the whole fucking world would waste this talent.
Christ! The superstar striker laid a pass offHe set up semenyo. Is that fuck all? The haaland haters completely ignore that every time he gets the ball he does something forward thinking. Every time. Stopped reading at xG sorry. He's scored slightly under his xg 3 seasons running. We're unusually good at creating chances.
No team on earth is getting him 60 goals.
He's (until recently) a composed and clinical finisher he just doesn't have the individual all round game to score 60 goals, which is obviously not a massive criticism.
Stopped reading at xG sorry.
You can watch football and then make assessments. That's what I've done. xG. Fucking hell.Ok there's absolutely no way to quantify how creative a team is in that case, if the striker does score the team is great and if the striker misses the team is terrible.

Based on his skill set. Based on his ability to finish. Based on his incredible first 10 yards. Based on him scoring 50+ goals for us in one season already...when we used to play him in. Based on other leagues being less competitive.Ok then ignoring XG how does Erling score 60 for someone else?
Based on what you've watched -
How do we not face a low block each week?
Should he come front post sometimes?
Should he peel away to the back post, beyond the width of the goal?
Does he win as many physical battles on the deck or in the air as much as he used to?
Is his movement incisive or unpredictable enough not to give the CDM an easy interception nearly every time?
In the exact same position Pep would have destroyed Kane as he is with HaalandSometimes wonder where we'd be now if that bastard Levy had answered his phone.
Pep hasn’t destroyed Haaland or anyone else. Players are responsible for their own performances. In the exact same position Pep would have destroyed Kane as he is with Haaland
