47 | Phil Foden - 2025/26

Well one of them is 25 and is on £200k a week, has won the treble, and can't even get a few minutes off the bench

The other is a few years younger, probably on half the money, and has been at the club for 7 months, and already looks head and shoulders above Phil
Head and Shoulders above get a fucking grip

Shitbag…. Pushed or ran off the pitch when challenging for the ball!!!! Get in the gym sort head out instead of having babies…… gormless
Telling him to get in the gym lol bet you’ve got a bakery full of fat rolls yourself

10 seconds left, he’s got the ball in a great position on the side of West Ham’s box……..passes it back to Nunes.

Same Nunes who probably more reliably picks out Haaland than any of our other players?

Thought Phil looked decent when he came on tbf, sad to see him become one of the boo boys.

He'd be better and more likely to play out this funk if he wasnt a cowardly player.. say like Bernie or Dave. Never see him not pull out if the ball is there to be challenged for.... His take on numbers have halved last few years too.

League;
August-December - 5 goals, 4 assists

January (31st, by the way)-May - 14 goals, 2 assists

CL;
August-December - 3 goals, 2 assists

January-May - 2 goals, 1 assists
Yes because G/A is an accurate measure of performance.

That ties in with when De Bruyne came back into the side.

Correct, for him.

He’s a player whose purpose is G/A - let’s not try and rewrite his role.

We’re not talking about a Rodri type player here.

It’s like saying we don’t measure Haaland on his output.

We know he’s been asked to play a different role this season and I think it’s knocked his confidence at a time when he’s already struggling with whatever it is going on off the pitch.

I’d like to see Pep put him back at RW like the old days and just tell him to get the ball near the box and shoot or play the last pass. Make his job easier until he’s back on his feet.

This is such an oversimplification of the sport lol

Agree. Get him out the middle.

The team in general could do with more width IMO.

Yes, I see what you're talking about, but I wasn't surprised. His biggest flaw, the one he can't seem to improve, is that he only knows how to play with his left foot; his right foot is only good for getting on the bus.

But it's unfair to criticize him tonight for the few minutes he played. There are players who played for over an hour, and the ball suffered from the contact of their feet; their one- to two-meter touches made it look like they were playing in safety shoes.
