hattrick from Doku?
Valverde goal tally in La liga was total of two goals this season before the 1st leg.
Doku is on one goal so kind of similarly unexpected to score a hattrick out of nothing.

The last time we were 0-3 down and the 2nd leg at the Etihad was the Dippers , we battered them and should have been 2-0 up at half time but the referee robbed us , the Champs league has brought us a lot of heartache but for one great night in Istanbul , my prediction is we play them off the park and we will get beaten by a sucker punch , its the City way in this competition :)
 
City after couple tough games…

I think we will win but it won’t be enough overall.

The current squad level is not champions league winning material.

I said months ago before we closed the gap on Arsenal that we won’t win anything. stand by that now. It’s not our season. You can’t have the amount of problems we have/had and win.

Glad the league is done. Get this game done aswell and we can start to properly evaluate the season and players.

So many not good enough.

I would try to move on 10 min. If possible. All you can do is start again and try to improve the squad. Keeping mediocre players will only keep the club down.
 
It’s not impossible. Get an early goal and they could wobble. 2-0 by half-time and it’d be very much game on. Can’t see it happening though if I’m being honest. We’re struggling at the moment, and they will almost certainly score themselves.
 
Win the first half by one goal.

In the second half, score a second goal before the 85th minute.

And then experience the excitement during the last 10 minutes (including added time). If we add a third goal, we'll secure qualification during the 30 minutes of extra time; otherwise, we'll at least salvage some pride with a victory and stop this negative spiral of recent results.

But Pep needs to field a goalkeeper, defenders, defensive midfielders, creative midfielders, and strikers in his starting eleven—simply a balanced team, nothing groundbreaking!

They banged in another 4 today. Seems we’ve done our usual trick and given our struggling opponents a lift.
 
If we can’t beat Forest, Spurs and West Ham in the last few games, I think it’s safe to say we aren’t turning around this tie against Madrid of all teams in CL.

It's funny because Madrid lost 0-1 at home against Getafe right before thrashing us 3-0 but yeah, I agree. We still won't go through here sadly. We don't have the mentality anymore.
 
Our only chance getting something from this game is not playing donaruma ( in first game we concede because of the fucking highline but too because of his mistakes) and haaland ( im sorry, but maybe a fresh haircut can help him playing better, i really don't know who said him that wearing that shit he have on the back of his head is cool, NO. It's not... I really hate the footballers which are more interested in their frisoures, rather with their performances ...Reminds me of ihbrahmihovič , and he was a **** of the highest order ! ) And what is the worst, We City fans, even some random young City fan girl can say what our best starting 11 is and what tactics must we play for winning the fucking games, but NO. OUR MANAGER CHOOSE TO PLAYING FUCKING HIGHLINE... HOW MANY TIMES WE CONCEEDED BECAUSE OF THAT? IS THEY ON HEROIN? WHY HE DOESN'T REACT AFTER THE SECOND GOAL WE CONCEEDED ?
