That was deja vu!

We started off well and should've been ahead in both games.

But, we gave both games away by committing stupid mistakes!
It could've been so different, but we'll get them next year!

But even though the tie was over, we played well with 10 men, had great chances to score and should've won i thought.

Khusanov and Cherki were our best players and look like they're going to be top quality!

Oh well, i had already accepted that we were going out (probably) so looking forward to Sunday now!

I‘m proud of the lads. Thought they were in for it, but then the red card. Can build on that, if we would have played every match with this intensitiy and dynamic. But hey, sunday final, show the same spirit and i got hope.

Some players showed some balls out there tonight and I would say the future is looking bright. Khushanov, Doku, Cherki all had top games tonight, worryingly the likes of Dias seem to be struggling. Proud of the team tonight but it’s difficult when you look back at the first leg and think what would have been had Pep not had a brain fart again with his team selection. Madrid don’t look great but get a leg up every season from the refs. Play with pride and passion on Sunday and we lift a trophy.

Thought personally we gave it our best shot tonight with 10 men, Khusanov was immense tonight and saved from another embarrassment. I think we are a soft arse team though, real don't like being roughed up and nobody was willing to take that **** vini out and put him in the stands. Good effort though CTID

Khusanov was immense, and he’s only going to get better. He is demanding to play every big game.

Proud of the lads tonight, it was a performance that had City’s personality all over it - quicker, sharper and less safe passing gave them problems. We need to get back to that intensity in every game.

It’s been a steep learning curve for the newer members of the squad, hopefully they have the desire and ability to go up another level.

Play like that Sunday and we will do alright.
