...and any slight positives to offer for this match? Things aren't always either great or terrible - that's a rather sad way to judge things, both in life and in football. IMHO.Comprehensively beaten over both legs. We were well short in Europe last year, well short internationally in the summer, and again well short in Europe this season.

Oh dear, disbuster will be along shortly you call you names.Round us we thought game had been stopped for a potential penalty for us at the other end as we'd seen the offside flag, should have known better when was our last favourable decision in Europe.
How could you not see it was a clear penalty. The clearest penalty ever in the history of Association Football.
Which is why it took 15 minutes for Var to decide. (They rung dizbuster up to ask him but he was engaged - talking to Trump about world peace so it's understandable, anyway, once theyd spoken to him, penalty it was.)

Back from the game.. Thought we were excellent.. Gave everything and didn't deserve to lose.
Ref was fucking awful but you know whenever he refs us we are up against it.
Khus was fantastic and Doku very good.. Rod getting better each game after his comeback.
We were always going to struggle pulling 3 goals back but you can't doubt the level of commitment.. If we play like that on Sunday with 11 players then I'm pretty sure we will be winners.

Top man you for giving your time effort and money upCrikey, I'm surprised by some of the comments in here. I gave up £200 and two days to attend the game and am pleased I did.
Ii thought we showed character with virtuoso performances from Khusanov (who, I fear got injured near the end) and Cherki who ran the show. I thought all the others played very well and Rodri is improving with every game.
With better finishing and even a modicum of luck, we'll be a very good team.

Real got lucky tonight , and they have rode their luck on many occasions against us , first 15 minutes they got battered then Bernardo had a brain fart and cost us the game the ultimate punishment a penalty and a sending off , but our crowd were superb all the game , the only comfort i can take is Vinnies Bayern will murder that rabble of obnoxious individuals in the next round.
Over 2 legs they were better mate 5-1 yeah we had chances but look how open we were at there’s and at ours.. they had best players out too, like spurs Sunderland against us and struggleBut it wasn’t 5,6,or 7. We missed more chances than them tonight and were hampered by a ref that failed to give us the free kicks he gave them, embarrassed my fucking arse

We have the makings of a decent side but we must get the recruitment right this summer.
We have been truly blessed over the last 18 yrs we can now either push on or fall into the pack.
