To be fair he’s not the player he was,if you take his penalties out of his goalscoring record you are significantly reducing his number of goals.He couldn’t head the ball and was one footed,why defenders always seem to allow him to go on his left side virtually all the time was baffling.People might say the same about Messi and Maradona,but let’s be honest they were a class above this fella

Was a toss up between him and Mane who had perfected the art,hes got a good pupil 200 mile south in Sakashit ,who was a disgrace on Sunday.
Always infuriates me when good/great players resort to this tactic and im old enough to remember Franny.
 
I wonder if Sky will devote an entire game to him like KDB had, including post match presentation, or a documentary like Silva had?

Frannie wasn’t a diver.

Of the 13 penalties he scored in 1970/71, only four were awarded for fouls on him.

His nickname was Lee One Pen, not Lee Won Pen!
 
It’s very hard to time it right in getting rid/not offering new contracts to aging players who have been club legends, we know that as much as anyone and looks like Liverpool held on for a year too long.
