That contract extension was laughable at the time and has been proven to be terrible business by them IMO.

Some player, though, will be glad to see the back of him. The good and bad sides to his game.

I thought they would have tried to get a fee out of Saudi. Like others have posted they need to likely replace both CBs and add a winger/forward with zero fees coming in for any of them. Apart from C Jones no academy lads to shift either. Hopefully they miss out on CL and have to pay off Slot as well.

I’m more concerned with Carol Kirkwood leaving BBC Breakfast. Whether I can put my washing outside is more important to me than Salah leaving l’pool;)
I'll give you an easy tip.
Immediately after taking the washing out of the machine, stick your hand out the door.
If it gets wet, it's raining.
If its dry it will be raining very soon.

He’s scored 4 goals at the Etihad.

For context Aguero and Haaland have 2 and 1 goals at Anfield.

There’s a lack of objectivity on this forum at times.

Did Aguero score at Anfield? I don't think so.

Our top scorers at Anfield in the last 15 years or so are Bernie and Gundo with 3 goals each, but I think 2 of Gundo's goals were when the ground was empty. So, it's Bernie.

The fact they’ve had to lose out on the £100mil fee they could have had last summer is fucking hilarious, love it.
He was a free agent, wasn’t he? They were never going to sell him last summer after he’d just signed his new contract.

They were sentimental. The signs were there last season that his legs were going. Same with KDB.

We made the right decision.

I’ve just heard on Sty radio news that "an agreement has been reached" for the falling pharaoh to leave Klanfield in the summer and he will leave as a free agent.

It sounds very much like they’ve agreed to pay up his contract, or at least partly.

Is he in top 5 PL players of all time? As much as I don’t want to admit, I think he is.
There’s an argument he makes the best ever Premier League 11 in his position, but he’s not top 5.

Henry, KDB, Terry, Cole, Silva, Rooney, Scholes, Gerrard, Lampard, Aguero all better for me, Ronaldo, Yaya and Suarez too but for a shorter period and didn’t have the longevity he has had.
