Media discussion - 2025/26

I respect Henderson for his interview.
Calls out the lying media and the sheep fans who believe most of the shite.
Yes it is
It was noticeable last night before kick -off Henderson put his arms round Foden's shoulders and seemingly gave him words of encouragement. Also when Foden cam off Tuchel gave him a big hug.

I didn't watch it, but good.
Everyone must see what the media are up to in this country

How do commentators or the media think Rashford is an outstanding player ? He must be infuriating to play with in the same team. He never looks for or finds passes. He's just basically playing by himself, and you can always fool the media if you have pace and were once a rag.
Phil is the complete opposite, works for the team, always looking for space, looking for the killer pass. Unfortunately for Phil, England are not City. As City fans we know what Phil is capable of but he will never be able to achieve that goal with England. Phil asks for the ball repeatedly through England games over the years but never receives the ball. He's won more trophy's than the entire England squad put together. I know he wants to be part of a world cup team, but England are just a group of losers, playing probably the most boring football in history. Actually all international football is boring and shite !!!

Disgraceful article singling out one player in a lacklustre team display.
Talk about kicking a man whilst he’s down.
McNulty needs banning from the Etihad along with Stone.
As for running a HYS on this….shame on you BBC!
It really is beyond time that a gesture is made in that direction. I would really, really luv it if some day soon a video emerges of Pep blocking the entrance of one of these cunts and tearing up their press pass and fucking them out of the stadium. It would get a billion views for sure.

Salah going - media in tears

Rodri will leave one day - media hand jobs all round
Just wait until the Rodent Rag leaves Old Scaffold.
Obituaries, national Bank Holiday, special section on the BBC website, 12 page souvenir pull out in the MEN, two hour Sky documentary eyc

I don't go out of my way to watch England but caught some of last night's match. I often wonder how City players feel playing lumpy gravy football when they have had so many sparkling champagne moments!

And as for the chummy commentators, give me strength. Dreadful all round.

Critics can mock but no-one on the Wembley pitch last night has won what Phil Foden has, and probably never will.

I dont know why I bother but I just reported some cretin called Keith on the BBC HYS section about Phil Foden who posted "City are Proven Self Confessed Cheats", needless to say I got the reply that the BBC didnt have a problem with that post,
its a real shame but the BBC really do seem to be turning into a Shit Stain of an organisation.

Already are I think you meant.

I see they’ve added another City story with a positive outlook to go with the Foden one.

And they selected a pic of Bernie that makes it look like he's gone 10 rounds with Tyson Fury, even though it's a trick of the light - no facial bruises resulted from the game against the Gooners. The caption on the story reads 'Captain Bernardo Silva has won 18 pieces of silverware at Manchester City', so why not show some Silva Silver.

Surprised it wasn’t accompanied with another picture of pep with his head in his hands

We’ve definitely got one journalist who is honest about City - John Cross from Mirror.

Gives it them about the cup final & how Pep genius was a new way of smashing gunners.
Also - airs the theory that it’s now ANYONE BUT ARSENAL - City now not the most hated club.

Basically Arteta was taught a lesson.
