Hope you’re right but I fear their commercial-driven signing days are over. Took them inexplicably long enough to recognise it as a flawed tactic.

I know a lot of people on blue moon seem to rate Nico G but I'm not a big fan. I'm not doubting his ability on the ball but I don't think he has the energy or mobility to play as a midfielder in the Premier League. He is fine when City are on top & dominating possession but when facing tough opposition & teams that are very quick in transmission he gets bypassed easily. Anderson possesses that energy to get round the pitch in the same way as Bernardo does, though not possessing the same skillset as Bernardo.

Love Anderson and rhonk he should be the #1 target to replace Bernie. But i think you've grossly underrated Nico G.

This report is suggesting we have too many midfielders currently.

I think he is Bernie's replacement. Hope Nico G stays. And he is potentially Rodri's replacement.

Nico O , Nico G, Mr. Anderson and the Smiling Dutchman. That's 4 mids next season. Maybe Rodri or maybe someone else.
 
Bernardo is out on a free and Kovacic is off to Italy it seems but i cant seem to pin down where, Milan is most likely but Juve want him as well.

I think he’s actually underrated, because he’s some English bloke who was sold by Newcastle to Forest.

I’ve watched him more than any other player outside of City and every single time I’ve thought wow.

I’m imagining what he could do under Pep, playing with Rodri.
 
He’d be a monster under Pep’s guidance. His reading of the game is already fantastic but Pep improves most defensive midfielders he works with. Only one he hasn’t was Phillips.
