Still think we’ll win it this year.

Can see us storming through our final matches

I can see us finishing the season on a high too, and I reckon we’ll beat Arsenal, but in all likelihood just come up a couple of points short.

If we do then all things considered it’ll still be a good season.

If we win the title then wow, surely Arteta gets the heave ho. They’ll never recover from that.

For me we have been more impressive than against arsenal. The arse are negative and have no flair, where as the scousers have more attacking intent and more skill, so it took a while for our game plan to start stifling them but we have built through the half and deserved to be two up. The second goal was just sexy as well

Both domestic cups and keeping Arsenal honest in the league is a really strong sign of progression from last year’s clown show, I’ll be more than happy with that.

This team will win the league next year. Not all the new lads have been 10/10 signings but even just Khus, Cherki and Nico’s development have transformed the team.

A long way to go to be back to our highs (which we’ll probably never reach again and we shouldn’t expect to) but we’re deffo moving in the right direction.

Khusanov has been good again.

Obvious point, but his pace is a bit of a game changer for what we can do tactically, particularly in allowing O’Reilly to push forward as far as he did in that half.

Mostly positive performance by City today, should be at least 3, with 2 penalties, thanks bottler olivar! Not seen any of the goals but the Comms on the City app utterly convinced the 1st pen should have been given. The 2nd goal one of our best team efforts apparently! Hope we go for more goals.

C’mon that Eketike chance would have required an outrageous finish as it was a loose ball on a volley. He would score that 1/100 times. VVD in the box is like Dias in the box, not really dangerous.
