What in the world happened to this Liverpool team. Spent a small fortune and are way worse in every way from last year.
 
Dont get the narrative that the Dippers were the better side for the first thirty minutes , they created a couple of chances , played the Stoke City long throws which were easily dealt with , we created opportunites and were denied a nailed on penalty on Cherki . It was an even thirty minutes a 50/50 game , then the big dozy lump foulded O'Reilly and they buckled , they played with no pride or passion and we were lenient when we took pity on them after 60 minutes.
They are a myth of a football club , their fans are spineless leaving with 30 minutes left on the clock , they have a banner "Imagine being us" written in crayon , just imagine being them , it would be a recurring nightmare

At the beginning of the season when they scabbed a few wins it was all about how they were doing it for Jota amd how motivated they were, now it's all turned to shit they've reverted to type.
Always the victims.

We were the better side throughout.

Y4s, at one stage I noticed slot gesture to them with hands under chin as to say heads up/ chins up. Think it was after our first or second.

They were the more proactive because they put a lot more energy into the first half an hour.

Their press was intense and they played a few nice passes through the lines, but ultimately didn’t create that much.

We were like a champion boxer. Standing at arms length, taking their jabs and ducking their punches and watching them tire.

After 30 mins, we upped our intensity and picked them off.

We did score at the right times for maximum pain too.

Amazing goals too.
