Has any club been in 4 consecutive fa cup finals ?
Wanderers (1876, 77 and 78), Old Etonians (1881, 82 and 83), Blackburn Rovers (1884, 85 and 86), West Brom (1886, 87 and 88), Arsenal (1978, 79 and 80), Everton (1984, 85 and 86), United (1994, 95 and 96), Arsenal (2001, 02 and 03), Chelsea (2020, 21 and 22) and City (2023, 24 and 25) have all achieved three FA Cup final appearances in-a-row.

Wanderers and Blackburn Rovers are the only clubs from that list to win all three of their three in-a-row.

Nobody has achieved four in-a-row.

No, I posted a few days ago.
Wanderers did 3 consecutive finals in the 1870s, didn't make the final the next season but then did 2 more.
So they did 5 out of 6 (albeit about 150 years ago) , but not 4 on the bounce.
If we do beat Southampton,it won't be another record that City will have broken.

It's doable but you need a decent pair of running shoes and you have to be on your toes straight after the final whistle has sounded

We had this issue for the Wigan final in 2013. Instead of looking forward to the match all week, we were fretting about making the 9pm train home - which every fucker and his dog seemed to be booked on going off the comments on this forum at the time - if it went to ET and pens. As we know, the pie-eating twats eased any worries on that score and we were back at Euston for about 8.15pm. Sure, with ET and pens it really would've been cutting it fine but we also learnt that day that there was an unadvertised contingency train on standby that was scheduled to depart at around 9.15pm. I'm guessing because they don't want hundreds or thousands of fans stranded and milling about Euston station, they pull out extra stops to get everyone back home on the day. Obviously, if you're going to rock up at Euston really late because you've been dawdling or have stopped off for a pint somewhere then they won't hang around forever and you might have to end up kipping on the tiles instead!
But, this is a semi final and, unlike the final, unless someone is 4-0 after an hour, everyone leaves at virtually the same time.

That last train is going to be a push if it goes to extra time.

The Carabao cup kicked off at 16:30 we stayed to watch the trophy lift and a bit of the celebrations (probably about the same time as ET would take at a guess) and managed to just about make the 20:12 from Euston

Will or won't be ?

Bonus night out in London and miss Sunday in work if I don’t make the last train. Result!

The East Side is shit. Worse for Pubs - basically do your drinking well away from the stadium so Baker St a recommendation here, less transport hubs unless you want a longer walk to Wembley Central, sun in your eyes - balls.

That's good to hear. Even with a win there'll be no trophy lift. Should be ok for the 21.00 from Euston
