I once got the train from Wembley Central to Watford junction after a game, just gave me a bit more leeway,I don’t know if it is still possible
Still a frequent and cheap service. I always go via Milton Keynes. You can also get a train to Brum from the Wembley Stadium station right by the turnstiles and change there. Worst option by far is back to Euston from Wembley Park underground.
EDIT: Last trains from Watford Junction to Manc are 20.19pm or 20.54pm. Should make those easily from Wembley Central. Euston is a circus.

Use the direct train from Wembley Central to Euston (Lioness line) or Wembley Stadium Station to Marylebone. Avoid Wembley Way at all costs.
That's the best piece of advice that I've seen on this forum for years.
Plus it cuts out the steps down from Wembley Park tube station and also the stairs at the end of Wembley Way, up to the actual stadium.
Which at my age of nearly 70 are knackering.

On Sale Tuesday
Interesting criteria - Cityzens Matchday members on the cup scheme being given the same priority as ST holders not on the cup scheme. Good to see that it's not a convoluted sales process either, and fans being given the chance to buy extras the day after they first go on sale.

This will be an intriguing seat count

What do you recommend then, stay til end and miss the train, leave while ET being played. Over 50+ years I've done wembley every way possible. Cant drive at night now, not enough of us to get a bus from preston, and last train is 8.30.
At 70 I can't do what I used to so an easy day for me is give it a miss, this time. Final is another thing.

Yes, there would've been no need to complicate the criteria anymore than this.

I personally would've let people buy extras from the start, however we're through the whole criteria by Wednesday 1pm so hopefully people can hang on until then if they wish to purchase in groups.

For context it took them 9 Days to get through the Criteria last year vs 2 this year. Much Better

I don't even know which side at the etihad is east and west.
If anyone says it, I say is that the kippax or main stand.

Same with Wembley but it's is it the green man end or the other end (which used to be have we got the roundabout)
At least we have always had a North Stand

I can’t remember but how did the Cityzens Matchday members get on the cup scheme? I don’t remember being given the option was it a new thing this season? Having 2x SCs on the cup scheme and 1xCM means I have to risk waiting until the later criteria to get three together!

It’s definitely new. Not sure if this is the first or second season it’s been in place.

There are more than enough tickets for all who want them, and more, so they've done exactly the right thing in ignoring loyalty points given the short sales window before the game.

i wasnt doubting about the ticket availability, its more the number of people and how long you will be in a queue when they go live
