Don't agree we were shit first half , we competed gave little away , more shots , more corners , more possession against a top five team , we softened them up in the first half and stepped up a gear , thats what great teams do.

Yeah I agree.

I think some fans expect us to go hell for leather from the first minute but that's not sustainable, certainly not at the back end of the season, not to mention the risk it brings.

We are like a top level boxer. You work them out, soften them up and then pick the right moment to turn the screw. Come out swinging like a lunatic from the opening second and you get chinned or start blowing out of your arse.

Football is no different at this level in games like that. Chelsea have enough quality to put you on your arse if you don't play it right.

Superb win. First half was very controlled overall and then they stepped up in the second half. Great pacing even if it wasn’t deliberate.

Three very good performances in a row now; need to really step up next week.
