Fat bastards sizes?Club World Cup kit larger sizes £10 city shop Trafford centre
yes ;-)Fat bastards sizes?
I agree. The last time we had a monochrome badge on the home shirt it looked crap but I quite like this one.Feeling brave, so I'll say it....
I've never liked them messing with the badge, and thought that there's no way that they ever should make it monochrome on the home shirt.
But I think this shirt will look better this way.
Didn't we wear blue shorts a few years back in 21/22?Should be banned for the rest of the season for this :)
I bought one from DH Gate, it was awful. Sent it back. They are excellent kits mate..much cheaper than buying from City or Puma.
Prices from City and Puma are fucking scandalous..
My last shirt cost £13 and it's identical to what you get from City.
I wouldn't pay £80+ for a football shirt..but each to their own
This, 100%. You can buy a plain cotton t-shirt on ebay for £4. They're decent quality too, so it's not like these things cost fortunes to make.Try reading what post I replied to.. The poster said he prefers to buy from City as the money goes to City.. I said it mostly goes to Puma.
I know full well Puma get nothing from the DHGate sales and I don't have a problem with that.
Puma and other suppliers should sell the shirts at a reasonable price and then more people would buy from them.
Yes I know they are counterfeit and again I don't care.. They are exactly the same as the shirts that people spent £80+ on.. Not everyone can afford that.
Do you think that the price of football shirts are reasonable?
I'm not that bothered to be honest, it's these new alternate logos (like the stupid devil thing on rags shirts) that I dont like.I like it but wish it was full colour badge. Dont mind the one tone colour on away kits but home should have a proper badge
What's worse is when the shirts we're asked to pay £80 for don't look the same as what the players wear. I don't mean the stitching or cut, I mean like the red and black diagonal stripes the other year where the players had red and black stripes on the lower half of the back but the fans' version was a plain black back. This, 100%. Even if they charged £40 they would still be making a huge profit, but £80 is a total piss take, especially when they are producing 3-4 of them and changing every single one of them every season. It's just corporate greed and we're feeding it. If they were a reasonable price we wouldn't need to buy knock offs.
If I buy a genuine one now it's end of season at 70% off, other than that I just buy something from the leisure tshirts range for £10-£15 in the sales.
You need to check what the reviews about individual sellers say..I bought one from DH Gate, it was awful. Sent it back.
I understand to a point; if the club has to compete at the highest level then every penny is essential. I suppose you can't have it both ways, but I couldn't afford a season ticket and the travelling expenses these days, but my gripe worth the shirts is it's just a ridiculous amount to pay. What's worse is when the shirts we're asked to pay £80 for don't look the same as what the players wear. Adidas have done this with United but gone worse with three tier pricing. There's now a stadium version, a replica version and a players' version - all priced differently. People don't want to buy the cheapest one that looks nothing like the players' version. The idea is that once a customer is encouraged to spend a bit extra to get the middle one, they think they might as well go the whole hog and get the most expensive one.
Because the game is now global, there's very little that groups of supporters can do about it. We're just being royally rogered at every turn. The game has become nothing more than an advert. I'm gutted that my sons have finally got to an age where they can afford season tickets just at the point that the whole game is doing all it can to rip off supporters.
The one I bought was from a link somebody in here provided, but the one I actually got was terrible. You need to check what the reviews about individual sellers say..
Only buy from ones that have good reviews.. Also never buy from them until shirt has actually been released by puma.. Some sell what they think the shirts should look like...
If you decide to buy again from dhgate.. Always check they have been selling for a while and check reviews.. I have bought plenty from there.. Only had one that was a bit dodgy but I ordered it when kit hadn't been confirmed by puma.. Took a punt and now I wait till I know exactly what the kitchen is like. The one I bought was from a link somebody in here provided, but the one I actually got was terrible.
I'm not that bothered, quite happy to buy an outgoing kit at a heavily discounted price now. There are now so many second and third (and fourth) kits that nobody else would recognise them without the crest anyway. I do have one of the current (sash) home shirts but I often wear one of the older ones.
