it was obvious from the outset that people should have been allowed to buy extra, you only had to be at last years semi final to confirm that. Even if City open it up to everyone and unlimited tickets how do they communicate that information as the people they are potentially aiming to attract are basically lapsed supporters out of the habit of going. The only was to stimulate sales is loyalty points and the lure of a final ticket, the i would only guarentee a final ticket to cup scheme members, the rest would be based on attending the semi final and how many other games they did.
 
Giving this a miss due to the cost as there are 4 of us and I go away 2 days after. If the prices started at £30 then I would probably go.
 
I’m going and can’t wait. I actually always enjoy the days out at Wembley. I understand why some give it a miss. We should stop beating ourselves up about it though. We don’t have the tourist numbers like the dippers and rags.
Anyone who has been to a semi final or community shield against either of them knows that pretty much all their support is out of town tourists on those days.
Hopefully we will shift a few more over the weekend. Especially if we beat the Arse.

The LC final v Arsenal is much bigger than Southampton in a semi to be fair. People are skint. We made a lot of noise v Forest last year and will do this time. I can’t wait to be honest. But I won’t judge anyone else.

With the Carabao, the semi and hopefully the final, probably near on 100,000 Blues making the 200 mile trek in a few weeks. This to a place that has no mystical appeal whatsoever, with fuel through the roof and another cost of living crisis.

Fucking outstanding support.
 
Is there a likelihood ST holders will be allowed to purchase more tickets than the current amount for the SF, taking into account the rate of sales at the moment?

Plenty of Blues are skint and plenty of others are on on foreign holidays. I’ve noticed more than other years, lots of fans take their holidays during the season. Each to their own.

It’s a shame the Face Value pages aren’t so important now. I can recall Daz Clarke calling on Blues to get to Wembley and thousands being added to our following.

Apparently those seats have a minimally restricted view, a little like the restricted view seats at Wembley. You’d barely notice it and it won’t impact on your ‘spectator experience’. Nothing like some of the seats at Goodison Park!

I’m guessing they have to be designated as restricted for legal reasons and Everton are just covering themselves.

People have their own reasons for wanting to go, and their own reasons why they don't want to (or can't) go.

Some blues seem to still suffer from "reds under the bed" syndrome and are more concerned about what Twitter rags will be saying about our crowd whilst they're sat at home on cup semi final weekend.
