So Odergard is officially out.

I'm really hoping one of Timber and Saka are out as well!

I wish bloody Rice was out. Fucking ruined football when he went to these twats instead of us. We’d have won everything in the last two seasons if we’d got him.

I can see this being a 0-0 borefest. They're hard to breakdown defensively, weak offensively and they only need a draw.

It wouldn't surprise me if they drag us down to their level.

Pep will be using all his brain cells to work out ways of getting past their bus parking/shithousing.

There's no doubt it will be 11 v 15 as well.

We've got this. They're running on empty and appear quite fragile ATM. We're looking strong and have the impetus and obvious self belief that's been lacking for a fair bit of this season. A few beers before the game, everyone in on time and let's raise the roof. Come on You Old Sky Blues.
MCFC OK

I expect them to target Cherki for some rough treatment. Not forgotten the premeditated assault on Rhodri from kick off a couple of seasons ago, followed by Partey's snide challenge

The classic, not booking their players for 7 nasty fouls in the first 10 mins as ref wants to 'let the game flow' then giving us the first yellow of the game for a soft foul 5 mins later

Pep's thinking is central to this game, as you say. This season he's completely flummoxed Arteta and Arsenal twice.. first, the 'defensive formation' against type in the league game at theirs and second, the total press and high energy attacking at Wembley in the League Cup final.

I'm fascinated by the prospect of what Pep's approach will be on Sunday. Expect surprises! Whichever way Pep plays it, fingers crossed it brings us the win and the three points..!

I can see you being quite wrong.

For starters, they conceded 2 goals against us, Southampton and Bournemouth. That's 6 goals. Their defence hasn't been really solid in the last few weeks.
Agreed - it's noticeable how many individual mistakes they've been making, with Gabriel as guilty as anybody. They're also quick to have a go at each other after giving goals away.

If they've been watching our recent matches (which obviously they have) they'll probably think that their best chance is to really have a go during our slow start. I don't see them being as cagey from the off as some others on here.

I think we'll win, because despite having far too many bang average performances these season, we're a class act and really hitting form. Dippers, Chelsea and Arse put to the sword in consecutive matches withouth conceding a goal speaks volumes.

They on the other hand have peaked, they've been very lucky on occasion, and have a record of crumbling when the pressure is on.

3-0 City, with the big man doing the business.

Ex Arsenal Keeper Alex Manninger died today after his car hit by a train in Austria. At Arsenal 1997 to 2002. PL & FA Cup winner. He was understudy to Seaman but was PL Player of Month March 1998
