I remember when we played Monaco and the ball was tied to his boots all the way through the match. I said to my friend we have to buy this lad...
Both myself and my lad were at that game and likewise we said the same thing.
And bingo !! Could not believe it when he arrived so unexpectedly in the summer. One of my all time favourite players and so glad he was a Blue and still will be.
Bernie good luck in your next/new venture and forever in our hearts mate.

Through all the bullshit from (a minority of) our own fans about how he's finished, waste of space, legs have gone, useless... seasons ago! He's been one of our most crucial players. So crucial I think we will miss him bigly next season. Irreplaceable.

I saw his first game at the Etihad (could see then that he was special) and I would love to see his last.

Long live Bernardo! Named our dog after him too.

When he arrived someone said he’ll be better then David Silva, I thought yeah sure he will, but you know what! Heart of a lion, clever, clever footballer.

Must be City's most decorated player, if not now, cum the end of the season.
Kevin De Bruyne 19 trophies:
1 x Champions League
6 x Premier League
2 x FA Cup
5 x EFL Cup
1 x Club World Cup
1 x UEFA Super Cup
3 x Community Shield

Bernardo Silva 18 trophies:
1 x Champions League
6 x Premier League
2 x FA Cup
5 x EFL Cup
1 x Club World Cup
3 x Community Shield
(Bernardo was injured for the UEFA Super Cup, wasn’t named in the squad and didn’t get a medal… Typical City, he missed only 9 games in 9 years through injury and in one of them he missed out on a trophy!)

…as you say, it would be great if he could get to 20 by the end of the season.

Irreplaceable. Other legends have left whilst majorly on the decline, despite what a small but vocal blind section believe, Bernardo is still absolutely vital to this team, there is nobody else to pick up the slack and we'll struggle to replace him like no other player that has left in recent years.

The 4.0 the real madrid was probably the best performance ivw ever seen by a city player
His performance in Jan 2019 game vs Scousers will run it close. He was absolutely EVERYWHERE that day. That is still my favourite City title win (although excrutiating during those final weeks) and Bernardo was arguably our MVP with KDB sidelined in that run-in

A true legend. 2 of best performances ive ever seen was him v liverpool at home just after Christmas think 2019. And Home v Madrid in treble year.

Will miss him not just his undoubted ability but his endless energy, his football intelligence, his leadership, his enthusiasm & of course his Bertness. Love him & wish him and his family nothing but the best.
Hope upon hope we can send him off with another couple of trophies

Offered? Are you insinuating the club wouldn’t have him back? He wants to leave, isn’t that obvious?
Alright let me be more clear for you. As I said I was dreaming that he’d be offered (and accept) a new 2 year deal. Whether he was offered one, or not, and whether said hypothetical contract was ever offered, and rejected, I don’t fucking know, it wasn’t in my dream

Thanks for clarifying. :)

I’m pretty sure Pep and the rest of the club would love him back for another two years
