Would you take him back?

I am not sure I would, but if CFC are not in the CL next season, and they intend to buy experienced players, then they will be selling the likes of Cole Palmer and Estevao, or they will have to find some other accounting trick with which to circumvent financial rules.

They need to find players who will not just generate big fees but who will generate profits.

I don't think Palmer has been fit this season, hence his dip in form. I wonder about his mentality though. Is he an elite player? He has elite technique but I have always wondered about his mentality. He cultivates the cool guy image.

I am curious as to what is going to work out at Chelsea next season if they don't get CL football. I hope they do. If they do, then it will probably be at the expense of Liverpool.

Chelsea can't go on as they are if they miss out on CL football, so my assumption is that they will have to sell the crown jewels. Speculative I know.

Chelsea will need to sell because they are seriously in the shit financially but the players they would get any decent return on are the ones they need to keep to get back in the CL

They would want 100mil for Palmer and there simply isn’t anyone who will pay that, never mind us

One of the very last players they would sell regardless of how much they need to bring in to balance the books, he's their star player. Anybody saying no to having him back is doing so without a clear head. He's an academy graduate, he'd basically be an extra body in the squad and would play plenty, of course you'd have him back.

I've always thought Gusto is a decent all round full back without knowing his game in detail. Our wingers don't seem to take that many liberties with him.
