PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Get fucked that it’s took this long to answer 115 questions, it’s either gone to HMRC or to the regulators because of the ‘Old Top 4’ cunts impropriety!

It's not to say that they're having difficulty documenting anything. It's just that there's huge amounts of evidence and I'm sure given the interest that they want to release something as clear and concise as possible, without leaving any doubt.

I'm struggling with this idea of huge amounts of evidence, tbh, at least from the PL's side, and the overly complicated nature of the case.

In a nutshell, the PL is accusing the club of fraud. They have to provide cogent and direct evidence of fraudulent behaviour. They won't have any. Even if such fraudulent behaviour did take place, which I very much doubt, the sort of evidence they need will be tucked away where they can't get at it. They can supply all the email discussions and circumstantial evidence they like to support their case but, like at CAS, that won't stand up in front of the witness evidence the club will present and the direct evidence from AD that the club chooses to present at the hearing.

I just don't see how the panel's as analysis would take longer than last summer, which leads me to think something else is going on that we don't know about. I don't think it's unreasonable to think that at this stage.

I am talking the most serious allegations here. I am less convinced, and less worried, by things like ownership, related parties and some of the "smaller" allegations. We aren't getting relegated for those, so I don't care.

What is this thing going on that is so important that it is "delaying" the judgment? I don't know, but I have some ideas. In any case, it will most likely be bad for the PL and not for the club, imho.

That’s actually more interesting than it first seems. No date for a decision doesn’t mean the decision hasn’t been made. It just means they haven’t been given a date.
I asked Stefan a long time ago if he thought a decision had been made and he said yes.

For me at least this was always a smear campaign as such the longer we are under suspicion the better for the cartel.
I absolutely didn't say yes - some misunderstanding.

How much clearer do you want it than Lord Pannick saying there is no decision yet? I know it isn't good for the thread, but there has been no decision received by the parties.

But in terms of the process Stefan, would you expect the panel to review the evidence and make a decision and then do the write up afterwards? Is that correct?

And there would be a point where the panel would know the decision but nobody at either party would (though we still wouldn't know if we've reached that point or not).

No, this is referring to whether IC themselves know their decision. Of course, their view would have been established in or shortly after the hearing (or in some cases/on some points on the papers). But this doesn't mean the written judgment has been finalised but has been held or selectively communicated. The parties have no information about the decision as Pannick states himself.

How long did it take to go through passport control?
I’d say 95% of the UK people attempting to scan passports (before getting to photo and fingerprint scans) failed, including me and Mrs JASR.
There was a queue but was moving reasonably well. It’s a long walk to baggage reclaim… if you have luggage. Due to queues by the time we arrived, the conveyor had stopped with our baggage on it.

So to clarify - the decision has been made, but not yet communicated to either party?

Unless Lord Pannick isn’t telling the truth - after all, if all parties have decided to withhold the verdict for whatever reason, he’s hardly likely to say he knows.

Without arguing about that stuff....

Is it possible in actual legal scenarios that 2 parties go to an independent tribunal.. are waiting for the judgment but then think the stakes are too high to come out as the loser and instead reach a classified settlement?

Is that possible in any way?

Yes it happens. But not happened here even if it could and it would be very hard in a PL situation due to how the Sanction Agreement rules work.

There is zero chance Pannick would misguide or lie.

Unfortunately there’s no laughing emoji.
