Arsenal (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

I think they did. They just didn’t have the players who’ve been there. We had positive attitude and belief. They had a determined attitude and fear.

It's not about players not being there and having done it before ? You need players who want it badly enough that they rise up and take it by the neck, City winning the first Premier League title had players wanting it so badly, even at 1.2 down to QPR, we tried and tried and never gave up and we all know what happened next.

Arsenal didn't do enough for me today and some of their players don't fancy it enough and pass it on in the hope somebody else scores. All it takes is just one player to say i am not coming off a loser today and takes the game by the neck,

I think City was average today and it took Silva's fighting spirit to win the game ? he was not coming off losing today

We’d be nowhere near this position without the vital contributions of both those players this season
Although Semenyo had a poor game I think we need to remember he's not been here long and no disrespect to Bournemouth he's not used to pressure games like this.
The mistakes he made looked like those that someone nervous would do.
Both Haaland and Donna improved but they have the experience to do so.

We have to give credit to Arsenal for coming to the Etihad and trying to win the game.
Yes they wasted time, used the dark arts, etc. but they also attacked and had chances to win the game.
It was a great game if football with both teams going for it.
Surely Farteta can see that had they done that all season they'd have been crowned champions weeks ago.

All season long these pricks have been telling us only winning matters and not the performance with their set piece nonsense and utter shithousery but today apparently their performance should be applauded.
