Gabriel headbutt on Haaland

I thought interview with Erling spoke volumes. He said if he went down it would have been red but he said he isn’t that type of player (hinting he isn’t a cheat). I think he was also hinting that he’s always getting fouled but because he doesn’t roll around on the floor everytime he’s wrestled with he doesn’t get the free kicks he deserves. Erling is always treated differently to other players. Tearing his shirt into shreds wasn’t a yellow either.

So tearing a shirt isn’t a yellow and head butting isn’t a red, and wrestling a goal keeper isn’t a foul if the team is Arsenal.
Tbf Haaland had hold of his shirt too when his own got ripped. Thoughg that one was far enough. Should have been a red for the head 'butt' though

I expect in a week or two we'll hear released audio of the conversation with VAR.

Not that that doesn't give PGMOL enough time to use AI to create and release whatever they want - not saying they will, but they could.

The recording should be available and released now. There's no reason it couldn't be.

They won't but the club should demand an appeal of some kind on this. As per anyone's understanding who started watching football any time before yesterday, headbutts are a straight red.
It seems it's a straight red but first a check on the shirt colour. PiGMOL refs cheating the game again sung to the Cockney tune.

100% sending off , if that had been the other way round , Gabriel would have hit the ground like a sack of shit , because he is a coward , would love to re-arrange his teeth with a hammer , it would be a pleasure.

Im sure the ref will explain how it was just a yellow. I thought violent play was a straight red. Looking forward to hearing the refs reason

Because he wouldn’t have considered it violent play. He’s perfectly entitled to do that. Some others would. That’s what we’re going to have to change though.

According to The FA Laws of the Game (Law 12), moving your head towards another player is heavily sanctioned based on the intent and force used, with a clear distinction between an attempt to head the ball and an attempt to make contact with a person.
Here is the breakdown of FA rules on this action:

Violent Conduct (Red Card): A player who, when not challenging for the ball, makes a clear forward movement with their head resulting in contact with the head or face of an opponent (or any other person), is guilty of violent conduct unless the force used is negligible. A headbutt, or attempt to headbutt, is classified as striking or attempting to strike and will almost invariably result in a direct red card.

Attempted Violent Conduct: If a player attempts to headbutt another player but misses, they can still be sent off for violent conduct, as the law punishes the "attempt to use excessive force or brutality".

Reckless Action (Yellow/Red Card): If the head movement is deemed reckless (disregard for the danger to the opponent), it must be cautioned (yellow card). If it uses excessive force or endangers the safety of the opponent, it is a red card.I

"Negligible" Contact: If contact is made but it is extremely minor or unintentional (e.g., in a jumping contest, two players clash heads naturally), a referee may deem the force "negligible" and not issue a red card. However, any deliberate forward movement of the head with force is a strict red card offence.

There is the rules, taylor has deliberately ignored them.
I'm not sure whose "rules" they are, but it's not from law 12 or anything else in the laws of the game. Some PGMOL "extra advice" to muddy the waters?

It'll be something like this

6 of one half a dozen of the other.
They’re both at it all game.
Haaland could have been sent off for bouncing the ball off his head last season.
It’s a great rivalry.
I can see your point but I think where I have a problem with this particular incident is Haaland being booked too. Surely if he’s booked then Gabriel had to go. His butt was the worst part of that situ yet the punishment is the same.
