Arsenal (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

You have to ignore it - mainly people who passionately want City to win and get nervous and negative. I stayed with it all the way through as my streams kept constantly dropping out especially over last 20 mins !
Anyone who comes off the Matchday thread because of Blues venting is mard. It's football and it's about passion. I'm sure those digging the Don for the Arsenal goal will also have lauded him for his pint blank save as well. Semenyo got some as well. I certainly wouldn't leave it because I didn't like someone's opinion.

What a game of football.

22 players absolutely dying for the badge at all times and City emerge as winners.

Onto Burnley.
It was a cracking game and a good advert for the PL.

What a fantastic performance, both by the team as a whole, and individually by all of them.

Rayan produced some unbelievable footwork for the first goal. A real twinkle toes moment; extremely skilful.

And the quick thinking by Gigi to throw the ball out quickly to start the move for the second, while many of the cheating Arsenal players were still upfield was brilliant. Nico's and Jérémy's work down the flank took the ball to their box so fast that it caught them off guard, and Erling's finish was top notch.

Now we have to win our last five games. Easier said than done, but the destination of the Premier League trophy is well and truly back in our hands.

Great win. Great determination to get the result. Very even game and could have gone either way but we had the quality in front of goal.

Some top performances. Bernado shading O’Reilly for MOTM for me.

Still 50/50 for me. Our games are much harder and we have one more to win.

Finally made it home and feel drained! God only knows how Bernardo and O'Reilly feel.

It was a bit of an emotional roller coaster wasn't it? It would have been better for my nerves had we not faffed up so many of our chances earlier on. We rode our luck a bit at the end but then so did they. Cherki's goal was an absolute stunner, what a talent he is. The less said about their goal the better, thankfully it didn't have a bearing on the result. Haarland did well to react for his.

Gabriel should have seen red, he did nothing but foul Haarland all game, it was disgraceful. I can't believe he stayed on the pitch for that head butt, you could see it clear as day from the third tier Colin Bell. They constantly moaned all the way through, complaining about everything, they are awful.

Three very, very important points, tough points but God I am so pleased we beat them. Really need to make sure we don't slip up in any games from now on or all that hard work will go to waste.

Bernardo will be irreplaceable.
