Arsenal (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

Not bothered either, but you seem to be perfectly happy about what others are posting yet for reasons unknown you're having a pop at me. I don't know what I've said or done to get you to the point where you feel the need to call out what I've posted while in the same breath you're saying it's OK for fans to overreact and it's not that important. If they don't annoy you why are you so worked up about my post that you have to keep going on about it? If my post annoyed you just press the ignore button, don't keep banging on about it.
I wasnt worked up about your post, they have all been lighthearted. Just let it go its really not important, im only replying out of courtesy now. Enjoy the Burnley game fella

Someone at the BBC please have a word with Rooney and tell him that when you're paid the BBC/taxpayer's shilling you lose the right to be partisan - you're there to call it objectively. Rooney saying 'I want Arsenal to win the league' and the BBC broadcasting it is pretty disgraceful.
Bang on. Really poor post match analysis last night. No discussion of Cherki's goal ? Followed by 'I want Arsenal to win the league' crap. Also, without any logical footballing explanation, City will drop points at Everton. Explain why Wayne, you fat divot.

I need to keep up , but fuck me two of my favorite og on here gone , her and de Nero .
Agree there 100%. Both very good posters and de Nero was a fantastic Mod who held a lot of the nutters in line. Nice to see someone post the 'Blue Boys' post on the Matchday Thread.

He managed to praise Haaland and slag him at the same time. Small time Scouser.

I thought it wasn’t a great decision that given how Donna had been struggling to pass the ball out from the back. Donna’s fault but I’m not sure the throw in decision was the best.

On the topic of throw in’s, every one of their long throws near the end was a foul throw as his foot was way over the line. Not called once and the Lino was 5 yards away!
Agree about the throw in. Arsenal were chasing everything down and it was a poor decision to give it to him.

Cherki..
I can't think of enough superlatives to chuck at this young lad.
How other big clubs didn't have him on their radar for this gobsmakingly bargain price is an absolute puzzle.
He seems to have the fucking lot in his bag of tricks and skill.
Surely he's already worth an absolute fortune.
Is he poty in premier league or Nico just asking

Great game. More tight than the LC final. But we deserved it. We really did. Both teams had lucky escapes. Great team performance led by a great captain.

Don’t think we will win our remaining games. Nor will Arsenal. But it’s in our hands. Including the FA Cup it’s gonna be a year to remember. Again!
And we gifted them their only goal.

Missed the game as we’re on a boys golf trip to Spain but I caught MOTD last night.. possibly just the edit but it looked like we were very lucky at the end not to concede.. but hey, they should have been down to 10 anyway so fuck ‘em

Also he was complaining about Citys post match celebration saying it was premature.

Rooney is awful as a pundit. Awful, just ..nil. I have no idea how he managed to actually play football at top level.

Shite analysis on MotD especially from Rooney. Combination of sly digs and wishful thinking about us stumbling (at Everton) and Arsenal winning the title. As others have said no mention of Cherki’s superb goal or the constant fouling on Haarland. The head movement from Gabriel (usually nailed on sending-off) dismissed as “handbags”. Very poor.
On the game itself, Arsenal only scored from a Don gift and were lucky it went in. We scored two fine goals from open play - although they played well and had their chances. Great win. Nobody at City thinks it’s done and dusted. Pep will make sure there’s no complacency and we’re in with a great shout. Arsenal will take some heart from their performance but will be haunted by giving up their lead.
Bring it on.
