Ive had a few giddy Saints fans trying to give me banter. Walked in my local Coop with my City hat on & 2 teenage Saints fans were predicting they'd win 5-0 or 3-0.

Hope Saints don’t wear their 1976 lucky kit again..suspect they will though.
The irony in a sense wearing a kit that fifty years ago they won fa cup beating the rags, now tomorrow they face another team AHEM from Manchester although it’s a semifinal but at Wembley I don’t like these sort of coincidences..

And they were a 2nd division team as well

who won the league cup in 1976/2026 ,now there is a coincidence for you to worry about :)

I no longer trust Foden he has gone backwards at an alarming rate.
That is your opinion and that is fine. I disagree.

He played well in the first half of the season until Christmas and has not played well since. He is a class player and we need him back playing well so he should start tomorrow.

Rodri Gvardiol and Dias all still out.

Rodri..precautionary
Dias ..must be very close from Pep’s previous updates
Gvardiol..no update

Not that any would have started tomorrow anyway.

Manchester City

When asked if he has an idea on when he will eventually leave Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said:
"No, I'm living day by day, numbers are numbers, how fine we have been is how fine we have been, who we are is who we will be."

"It is a semi final at Wembley again. We will try to win."

So desperate for him to leave , cup semi final and thats their 1st question pathetic

50 years since they beat the Rags at Wembley will mean the Saints are absolutely fired up for this. They are no mugs, they beat Arse and are currently in great form, albeit having only drawn with Bristol City recently.

I think we'll win, but possibly in extra time

The 50 years will have no relevance to the current squad nor will it have an impact on how fired up or not they are for the game.
