More and more links beginning to appear.

If targeted as a striker, no (for his sake and I don’t think he’d join due to minutes) because he won’t get in ahead of Haaland but if he can play on the wing as well as centrally, makes sense.

Like a Semenyo profile.

Looks a lethal finisher whenever I’ve seen him play for Bournemouth and I wonder if the delay in the Semenyo deal was/could act as a sweetener.

damn, he is expensive

I don't know how he plays as a winger, I have seen him mainly play in middle as a AM/ST

if Marmoush leaves, I'd rather have Franculino or someone cheaper or not sign anyone - Cherki, Foden could play as F9 and of course Semenyo could play there

Way too expensive to play second fiddle. May as well buy an elite winger and make Semenyo LW/ST backup

I haven't watched many of his matches in full, but from the few Bournemouth games I've seen and some match highlights, I think he can offer more than Marmoush. He's younger, seven years younger, more mobile, quicker, and has better first touches, which will allow him to play alongside Haaland, as he did with Alvarez, and replace Erling when the latter needs rest. I even wonder, given his profile, if Pep won't develop him further and sometimes use him as a winger.

Haaland
Kroupi
Semenyo
Doku
Cherki
Foden
Savinho

For three or four attacking positions, I think we're already better in both quality and quantity than at the start of this season with Semenyo and Kroupi replacing Oscar Bob and Marmoush.

I would rather invest on Mika Godts & Kenan Yildiz

Whats the point of Hugo Viana & his scout team if the club is going for "Trend /On form " players ?

Very good prospect, suggested £80m is obviously optimistic from Bournemouth, but wouldn't be surprised if he costs someone maybe £60m. Wouldn't necessarily be against that, but there are a lot of options out there.

He is very good, potentially elite but he isn't yet there. I wouldn't say no to him but we have capable squad players and we have players with potential already, if we are going to splash the cash on another forward they need to be the best around right now. Feels like it was him or semenyo, not both.

So I started watching more of him, because people kept saying he could play on the wings although he has only really played ST for Bournemouth and his stats showed how little "winger-like" he plays.

But atleast from them, and his time before Bournemouth I see the technical quality that he has to play as a winger.

But not like a proper wide winger imo like Doku, Savinho, Olise and the like where you want them wide and doing 1v1s all the time.

His clear best ability is his shooting and ability to dribble, playthrough in the box with his dribbling to link up ro shoot.

So it makes sense why transitionally he is working so well as a striker, how well that works here when you see what Haaland deals with is different, but I think him and Semenyo as backups to Haaland is good depth.

Then for LW in Doku's spot, we'd have to let him be more of a "goal scoring winger" and use our LB wider, which luckily, RAN and O Reilly both can do comfortably.

Would be funny to get another Bournemouth forward, and also very expensive.

I personally would still prefer Diomande (or any proper elite RW), as I favour a "proper" winger to upgrade RW (backup LW) as I don't think we truly need LW/ST option (Semenyo can technically do this for us as well).
