BBC United - Mediacity

They removed my reply to JWP for calling him pathetic. It broke the BBC United - Mediacity house rules.

As we all know, BBC Sport it’s full of Rags, Scousers, and Cockneys who came up to Manchester from London, and are still working there.
I’ve got an appeal against a comment of mine being pulled after the cup final. I flagged a comment of us cheating as off topic. My appeal was refused. So I replied to the comment saying well done city, I’m surprised that the bbc allow comments calling unproven allegations cheating. My reply…..pulled by the BBC for being off topic….

I had one similar. Poster going on about 115 , cheats and city should be punished. It was on a match report. My post said stick to comments about the game. My comment was also pulled for being off topic. Unbelievable!

Assuming my appeal is refused (which it will be) I’ve got a bit of time fee at the moment so I will go to ofcom. The moderation system they have is pathetic, inconsistent and staffed by wind ups.

Because I give a shit about the fourth estate and given that this is the media thread on a Manchester City supporters site and as this was a sports journalist award event, I reckoned some folk might be interested in finding out what type of shyster and what type of shite the industry sees fit to honour and as such it might be of some relevance in here, though clearly you disagree.

Thanks for taking time out of your day to let me know.

As you were.
Ah right mate, you continue to scroll twitter so you can wet your knickers that a load of media cunts get awards from other cunts. It’s obviously very important to you.

Who’s have thought sports journalists would receive awards at sports journalism events? It’s madness, madness I tell you.

I don't mind the childishness of Stone. Its a tailor made type of 'journalism' for fans of clubs like United who usually support a winning team (yeah I know) because they're the biggest of life's losers in the real world. So every time he 'reports' on us, its because he's one of many of the world's most insecure and ugly fuckers and I'm betting his parents kicked fuck out of him because who wouldn't?

I'm just happy newspapers aren't 3D yet, otherwise we'd all be blinded by that ****'s beak.
Thanks for this comment,it gives me a perfect opportunity to post this….

Personally I spend my entire life trying to avoid pics off or ANYTHING OFF that wierd freak bad creation Liew,so I kind off agree with @SWP's back……..but i get your point @The perfect fumble :)

Dunker referred to John Stones as 'part of the treble winning squad!'

Yeah, like referring to the Pope as part of the Catholic Church!!!
He's probably read many of the posts on here that Jack Grealish single handedly dragged us to an unprecedented treble, so on that basis assumed Jonny Boulders was a bit-part player.

You need to sit in a darkened room with a bottle of whisky and ponder why it is you're so agitated about so little.

I'm not on twitter or any of those platforms, a mate sent the link and he thought, as I did, that if you want to know the state of an industry then a list of their great and good might be a handy indicator, nothing more.

Isnt sports journalism an oxymoron? A real pantheon of “greats” there

Precisely, if bottom feeders are celebrated that tells you a lot about the state of sports journalism in this country, nothing more.

I'm struggling to understand why it is that simply highlighting a sports journalist award event where a rogues gallery was lauded should've so agitated our resident Bottom Inspector.

Of course we all know the subtext of this article, without actually saying it, open the comments and let the great unwashed fill in the blanks, Pep ruined football! Oh and they’re cheats, 115 etc

It takes 2 sides to create a wonderful game like last night. None of the media pundits have grasped that yet.
Two sides committed to attacking, excellent forward lines up against 5 at the most defending. When City play it is a back 5 , 3 just in front and rely on a break.
But at some stage Pep and City will be blamed. Despite City scoring most goals every season
When Bayern and PSG play in Domestic games they dont need to worry about teams attacking them, it rarely happens.
