Season Tickets - 2026/27 | Renewal deadline Fri 5th June

After some advice on kids ST's please. I have a ST in south stand 118. My 3 kids are all Junior Matchday members and wife is Matchday member. The only games we all get to together are cup games where the kids prefer the bottom of the north stand. All five of us have been to every cup home cup game for the past 2 seasons but we can't do league games because of cost and not being able to get 5 seats together. My kids take it in turns to come through the turnstile with me for league matches (obviously they're all under 4 ).
Today I could register their interest for a junior ST each, which I did, but know it'll be a right handful with all 3 kids on my own if my wife couldn't get tickets with us. I don't want to miss their chance of a ST but realistically could only take all 3 of my kids to the match, if my wife was there too.
Any suggestions on best way of getting my wife sat with us if my kids all get ST's?

Yes, your daughter renews then she could look to relocate in that window if there’s no spares next to her even if it’s just down the row. Then you try to get your seat next to her. If that fails you should be able to ring the club to sort it for you.
Thanks for confirming, last thing i need is to miss a deadline or not follow the right process to be told we'll be sat separately all season again.

It seems to me your altenative would be...

1) Commit in May for the whole of next season, and miss out on every game you cant attend, knowing you can shift up to 9 of them via exchange and attend 10 personally.
2) Commit three weeks out, and miss out only on games where your circumstances change in the last three weeks (eg weather) after using up the three tickets you can put on the exchange. You still need to attend 10 personally. Cost per game a bit higher if you dont attend all games.

Sounds to me that your circumstances are exactly suited to the flexi. It may end up slightly more expensive per game, but unless you're really lucky and get rid of all your spares on the exchange, it'll save on the cost of games you knew ages ahead that you couldn't attend.
I'm not sure what it is you don't get. I currently have a season card that is ideal. I attend when I can and sell it on the exchange when I can't. How in good gods name does a flexi beat that? I already told you that this year I would have lost out on at least 4 games by committing three weeks in advance. I live in Scotland too and will in all probabiilty make the 10 this season and hopefully next. Over ten seasons now and it has failed to sell on the exchange just once.

This was in the email sent to me today.
Then perhaps it’s not those who have attended 7 games so far but something else, as I have also only got 7 games and so has a mate and his wife and all of us got same email that ok to renew, no flexi downgrade mentioned anywhere. We checked and so far for all 16 games we have either listed on exchange, transferred or attended … did you miss any game as in just left it without actively managing it (either of the three: transfer, exchange, attend)? As I can’t figure out why would some people get downgrade emails and others won’t if it’s exactly the same?

Also, now that I have already got renewal as Gold and I do that in a week or two or whenever … what if I end up with 8 or 9 games attended in the end then will they at that point - end of season - come back to us and say oh now that you haven’t done 10, your renewal is void and here’s Flexi instead … just shows what shambles the whole system is and how botched up their whole policy was from get go.

You could get 3 flexi season tickets for your 3 kids.

When you purchase a ticket for each game it allows you to upgrade the ticket to an adult ticket, for your wife. Just alternate between the kids’ accounts when upgrading game by game.

In SS3 the cost of upgrading from a kids flexi ticket to an adult ticket is around £7 per game extra. Will be different in other areas of the ground.

You’d then have 4 seats together between 5 of you, meaning the youngest would need to be on one of your knees.

Any child under 5 is allowed in free if sat on your knee.

I would register interest in the extra junior season cards / flexis. Follow the advice of fiverciders.

In addition, there are no guarantees but you might want to join 1894 and the Official Supporters Club, if you aren’t already members. I don’t know whether they will get any priority with season card windows but at least you are more likely to get helpful info early.

I would get her a membership and then when you get to pick season ticket seats pick seats 2-5 on the end of a isle leaving the first one empty . It's unlikely many people will buy that one seat on a individual basis so should be free for your wife for most games to buy on her membership and then hopefully upgrade that next season.

Where do you go on your season ticket account to confirm how many matches you have attended. Logically I would have though ‘history’ but it does not seem to differentiate between matches you attended and matches you missed. It just states ‘purchased’.

According to this chap, the match-to-match pricing for flexi SC holders varies and is not 1/19th of the ST cost for the seat.

Fantastic news about being able to transfer to fellow ST holders. This was my biggest gripe and considerations of quitting.

Now, does anyone know if the 10 game rule is based on attendance? Would I get a credit if I attended on a different ST and put mine on exchange?
